Skip to August of 2023. Students in Harry's year have been out of school for almost 25 years and are pursuing their desired careers, raising families, and sending their own children off to Hogwarts. These children, having no horrible war to look forward to, are living carefree teenage lives.

AMORTENTIA? Something strange begins to brew in the wizarding community. People suddenly begin to get sick, reporting symptoms that include a combination of fever or chills, slight hair loss, bright pink spots, itching, and hallucinations. What starts as a small outbreak begins to spread quickly throughout various towns and even Hogwarts, baffling Healers. If untreated, the disease can be fatal. These conditions have no known catalyst and, even more frightening, no known cure. It is highly contagious.

COMING SOON? After some time it will be discovered that the horrific new disease is linked with the love potion Amortentia, and thus referred to as the "Love Plague." Treatment will be developed to hold the disease at bay, but no cure is in sight. Who has unleashed this diabolical weapon upon the wizarding community? Is there any hope to stop this twisted plot? The answers to these questions lie in the brave and noble witches and wizards who must now stand up to solve this mystery and will sacrifice all in the name of the peace Harry Potter brought them...

Who are You?

HBP-Canon, DH-AU

HARRY POTTER, HERMIONE GRANGER AND RONALD WEASLEY were intercepted before they ever got as far as starting their hunt. Molly Weasley insisted that the trio not go on their wild goose chase and in fact forced them all, by means of the Order and parental rights, back to school. However once Harry, Ron and Hermione were out of the Order’s sights, Voldemort struck and from the trio he took Harry for his own use. All of the Horcruxes were gathered and relocated.

HARRY POTTER after being taken from the train had his memories removed by use of the ‘Obliviate’ curse, administered by a master Obliviator from the former Ministry. Harry has since been given the title of Protégé of Voldemort until he was trained in everything that was ‘truly’ meant for him as Voldemort explained to Harry later. Harry now heads the Ministry under Voldemort’s supervision, making Harry Potter the Minister.

HERMIONE GRANGER finished her Hogwarts Education up until Muggle Born students were rounded up and removed leaving only the pure and half bloods. Muggle Borns were placed in ‘special’ schools where they were taught ‘magic’ but were never allowed to use it and were kept under constant surveillance. Once Voldemort took over Hermione went into hiding with the other muggle born students and the order hoping that they would eventually have a break to save themselves.

RONALD WEASLEY was kept in Hogwarts with the other Pureblood students but he along with the other ‘traitor’ students were kept under constant lock and key. Once the year was over he along with the others were forced into the Ministries service and as all ‘traitors’ he was threatened with death and death of those he loved if he didn’t submit to the will of Voldemort. So currently he works as an Obliviator.

THE WAR in the wizarding world is not over even though the war within the Death Eater’s and Order members is over. The war amongst the wizards and the muggles and those in between wages on, as a struggle for control rises among the pure. Voldemort, has long since taken over when the war was waged between Dumbledore’s death and September 1 of the following school year. There was little bloodshed in the beginning, Voldemort killed the Minister and through use of a potion he was able to change his form long enough to change everything within Wizarding Society. Once he was able to do that his form was reassumed and Voldemort’s war against the Order themselves began.

VOLDEMORT is making the world a pure only place, and little by little it is happening. But what of those who already had loves and lives? There is no real way for love to be forced from someone, those are the stories that have yet to be told and are being forced silent. And, as whispers of a revolution become more and more apparent, the dreams of a free society and of a world with no laws and no fear of death begin to surface.Who are You?

 

This is...a glimpse of dawn in a very barren world.

The Plot...The Rules...The Character List...The Taken PBs...The Application...


So we all know the story…

The boy who lived defeated the Dark Lord as an infant and many other times over the years. But not until the boy’s fifth year at Hogwarts and the terrible turn of events at in the department of Mysteries did the ministry finally acknowledge the return of the largely feared Dark Lord, Tom Marvolo Riddle, also known as Lord Voldemort.

After the tragic events of Harry’s fifth year, his sixth year proved not to be much better of an end. Dumbledore also lay dead with Sirius and the others now, the last line of real help Harry had had. But an important thing Harry knew was, what he had to do, he had to find those horcruxes, but how, little did he know, the secret lie in a child, another child in his year, the only, and unknown, heir of the man with the initials R.A.B. that he had come to wonder about. No one knew about this little secret, not even the man himself, since he was killed one month before the child had been born.

On the night of July 31st, 1997, a prediction was made, by none other everyone’s favourite Hogwarts Divination Professor Sybil Trelawney .
“It is now in our darkest hour
That our savior will need the most help
But he will not find that help in friends
No
In another heir he will find his help
The secrets lie in a girl“

Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, and Hermione Granger were all whisked back immediately, having only left hours before for Godric’s Hollow, the place Harry now called home, to be informed of this and if they could think of anyone it could be, but there were too many options, it could have been anyone within a year or two radius of Harry’s own age! Due to the fact that the circumstances had changed drastically, the trio was forced, reluctantly, to return to Hogwarts for their 7th year.

And this is where we begin… The war has started and the search for the only other person who can help Harry, has begun.

This Game is not only one of the HP RPG world, but it is also an interactive mystery. We are looking for players who are imaginative and very active. The game is similar to Clue in the sense that muns and characters alike have the chance to decode and discover whom this certain mystery girl is.

<td>After Midnight is a post-Hogwarts game set in the year 2004. It is HBP-canon compliant and AU after that. However, the canon will be followed as close as possible. DH's Epilogue does not exist for this game. Children, relationships, deaths and the like from the ending of HBP forward can be disregarded.
The Second War has come and gone. Voldemort is a thing of the past. After the ending of the second war many people moved on with their lives.. marriage, children, careers, and everything those who took part in the war worked so hard for were abundant. Some, mainly the Voldemort supporters, had to go into hiding for fear of being sent to Azkaban. Peace and tranquility came over the Wizarding World; however, that's all about to change. . . The Muggles have always been a what if subject. What if they discover us? What if they manage to cross into our world and what if we are forced to go to war with them? Most ignore this what if, but Purebloods have always been weary of losing the only world they have ever known to them. In August of 2003.. it happened. Somehow the Muggles managed to cross the barriers between the Muggle and Wizarding Worlds. Chaos ensued immediately. Peace and tranquility were a thing of the past. Rash kidnappings of wizards and witches took place. Brutal beatings, posionings, and many other cruelties affected the Wizarding World within the first few months of discovery. The Death Eaters finally had enough and stormed the Ministry, taking control of it once more. More and more Wizards and Witches of all blood types are aligning with the Blood Purist DEs.
Now is the time to choose. Will you stand with those who worked so hard to keep the Wizarding World hidden at any cost? Will you stand with those who tortured and killed your family and friends for so many years? Or will you stand with those who think the Muggles aren't so bad? Will you stand with those who were loyal to the Order at all costs? Will you stand by the mediators- those who are trying to come to some sort of agreement so the two Worlds can live together peacefully? Is it even possible anymore?
Are you willing to risk your life to ensure that there is a future? Will you cower in fear or refuse to align with past enemies? Or will you take a stand for your lifestyle and World?

Rebuild (ree-bild) - verb

They say that rebuilding is a process filled with hope, sweat, and joy. The hope of a better future, the sweat from your back, and the joy from the promise it brings. Nobody ever mentioned the pain. Nobody ever mentioned the suffering of the stress or the grief that builds every day you enjoy something a loved one can no longer do. That's when the Aftershock of the situation sets in.




On 2 May 1998, the Battle of Hogwarts was fought. Several lives were lost and many more were injured on both sides prior to Harry Potter casting the final death blow against Voldemort. Numerous Death Eaters were captured and sent to Azkaban to await trial, while others managed to escape.

The dust has yet to settle, and everyone is in the process of regrouping to begin what will be the long road to recovery. Several were brought to St. Mungo's to begin the process of healing, their families taking care of them. The ones who could have begun to start cleaning up and rebuilding what had been lost, while some have discussed starting the hunt for the fugitive Death Eaters.

There were many children from both sides of the War who were left orphaned or otherwise abandoned. The Aurors, in conjunction with St. Mungo's, have set up a temporary home for them, hoping to place them with loving families.

There are many questions. Where does the Ministry now stand? Will the remaining Death Eaters regroup and retaliate? Is the Order still strong enough to handle anything that may happen? Is St. Mungo's able to handle the number of casualties? What about those who want to see justice served against those who killed their loved ones, no matter the cost?

Right now, it is two weeks after the Battle. Hogwarts is currently in a state of disrepair, as are the lives of many who fought there. As everyone begins to pick up the pieces after the War, this is where the game starts. Anything could happen as the aftershock settles in.


We are especially looking for:

Lucius, Blaise, Daphne, Neville, Hermione, Ron, Molly, Arthur, Order Members, Dumbledore's Army Members, and Death Eaters. Many characters are free!


The game is compliant to Deathly Hallows with a few minor exceptions, and is AU after that. The epilogue will not be followed.
