Who: Jill and Eddie
What: Jill's guardian comes to the rescue
When: Bendy to her arrival
Where: The woods, near the river
Warnings: TBD but angsty most likely
The fight against Lee and the strigoi was still fresh in Jill's mind. She never expected for it to go there, for things to get that far where Sydney and Adrian would be in danger. Of course they managed to all survive but Jill was still reeling from it. It was hard to think about that only to be dropped here, to somehow have to take into consideration that she wasn’t back in Palm Springs. Her link to Adrian gave her vital information about what was going on but it was also like an information dump that she didn’t understand. There was too much swarming around inside of her head, things she could feel about Adrian, things he was trying so hard not to think about but he couldn’t hide himself from her.
All she wanted to do right now was go to him, to comfort him and tell him that everything was going to be okay. Just be here, he said. Jill could hear his words over and over and it made her anxious. Jill was waiting for Eddie but she almost wanted to just go herself. Maybe she would be okay. Maybe the dangers of this world wouldn’t harm her. She did have training, after all.
Just like he taught me.
Jill was about to go, her eyes were set dead ahead but she stopped when she heard the sound of footsteps from across the river. Jill wasn’t sure what she was seeing at first but it became suspected right away that the group of people in front of her were dead. Jill could see pieces of their flesh good, bones showing through tightly wound flesh that seemed to be a different shade of pale.
They almost reminded her of strigoi but these things were slow and they didn’t seem to notice Jill right away until it looked as if they “sensed” her. Not all of them had eyes and if they did they looked rotten but sure enough some of them started to cross the river which made Jillian step back, her stance taking a dramatic change as she felt for the pull of the water.
Concentrating with so much going on in her head was a little hard as Jill tried to change the composition of the water so that the surface could turn solid, wanting to freeze the zombies as they attempted to cross the path in front of her.
