I wanted to go to the market, but this... this is not the market. There are more people here than I've ever seen in my life. It's like Coruscant, only... not. What's going on with the godboxes?

..Wow, Godbox got upgrades? Because I was craving dim sum, wanted to go to the mechanics to fix my bike (sorry again!) and landed here in Bejing.

The most holy Lord of all demands I get shrimp rice noodles and steamed pork buns.  I can dig this.

So. . . I have no idea what's going on, anymore.

I guess I'm right back where I started. I don't know.

This place is weird. At least alien planets you expect to be strange. But this place just doesn't make any sense at all.

I don't do this often, and usually when I do it's done privately to each individual.

But I felt the need to put this out there, for those of you in the past that have wondered and haven't asked, and for those of you now that need answers.



When I bring people here, I do it because I think that you will each find a place here, people to interact with, fun to have, experiences you wouldn't get from your previous points of origin. I do it to enrich your lives and hopefully keep you here for a very long time. There is a placeholder, as I like to call it, left in your place so that your family and friends aren't left without you. Many of you have versions of your family and friends here that you can interact with at the same level you would have at home. Some of those people are the same, and some of them are vastly different than you'd expect, coming from different timelines or alternate universes.

And sometimes it doesn't work out. When I make the decision to send someone back, it isn't done lightly. I don't just yank people away with no regard for who they are here and who may be involved in their lives. I do it because the alternative of leaving them here will cause more future pain than taking them when I do does.

Your futures are not predestined. I don't plan things out so very far ahead that I can see what will happen to you once you arrive here. There are so many factors that change your lives when you first arrive here that your future changes. And for some of you, it changes with dire consequences.

Rather than watch that happen, in almost every instance I prefer to send you home, to reclaim your place from the "placeholder you" with little to no memory of what happened here. It pains me to see those of you that are left having to deal with the pain of losing someone you cared for, but the futures of those who are gone were much worse than the pain you feel now. Though it's a small comfort, it's all I can offer.

Oh, not crazy time again.

It could be worse. I need to remember that.

Daddy? K'nd'w? Where is you?

This Mother's Day that is celebrated here... on one hand, I am so very much looking forward to being a mother again, to giving birth to D'Kahn's child. On the other, it made me incredibly sad, to know that our other children are gone. I think they would have liked it here.

As Tersa has pointed out... yes a young one is coming. Daemon and I are going to be parents. I wish Papa were here...

I miss Malonar and the children...

Yas is here, but another Yas arrived too. I am confused. I will still be friends with this new Yas, but why is there another Yas?
