Anne's brought to my attention that perhaps no one has asked you what the frak is going on with the Godboxes sending people to strange places all over the Universe.

She's in Middle Earth. I've got an idea about how to get to her. I certainly don't know if it will work, and I'd like to get her back here safely and ASAP.

Current Mood: confused

Conversations with inept and uncooperative locals tell me I've arrived in a dismal, filthy place called New Caprica.

If this is the new one, I cringe to think what the old one looked like.

I've just returned from hiking the Appalachian Trail. It was quite an experience, especially right at the end there getting drenched by the residual rains from Hurricane Earl. I'd decided to spend my last night sleeping out under the stars; bad choice. I should have known better when I saw the wisps of clouds approaching at dusk.

Has anyone else spent any time hiking there? What did you think of your experience?

I wonder if it's residual paranoia or intuition that dragged me out of bed tonight, worried that the whole world might come crashing down?

I suppose it doesn't matter either way. Nothing of dire importance has happened yet.

It's spring, when the sad-making layers clothing are finally shed. And it's damn quiet around here. So, I humbly propose:

Kara is here. She just got here again and she's extremely upset. I'm not even sure when she's from as she hasn't really communicated beyond saying my name yet. I'm with her in New York. I just didn't want you to be blindsided by finding out from someone else.
