1. Play nice! If you're a jerk, we'll boot you. So generally, just don't be a douche. We'll all get along better that way. We don't tolerate doucheweaselry, twatwafflery, cocknozzlery, asshattery or anything that sounds like you're being a prick. That includes from us mods.
2. There is no real limit to characters, but you have to keep them moderately active. Refer to rule six.
3. You must display your AIM/YIM/MSN name or your email in your character's IJ profile and on your personal wiki page. It can be all of those, a combination of them, or just one. There just needs to be at least ONE way you can be contacted. You must also display your character's name in the name field in your userinfo. It would also be beneficial to you to have a disclaimer in your userinfo, stating that you are neither the actor or the character, and that you make no profit from the use of either although this isn't mandatory, just a suggestion.
4. All players must be 18 years of age or older, due to content. The only exception is if you are turning 18 within 6 months of your application.
5. Taken characters are listed here and here. Please consult those before applying so you don't try to pick up a character already in play. You may reserve a character for 72 hours. Comment to this post to do so.
6. All characters must post and/or comment at least once a month. If you think you won't be able to post within that time period, please ask for a hiatus, don't just drop out.
7. Please keep your wiki up to date; this is how we see who's playing which character(s). If you need help with the wiki, don't hesitate to ask the mods, especially Pryllie. She's a wiki fiend.
8. Logs will be posted in the logs comm. Log posts, if longer than one paragraph to start, must be under a cut. This also applies if they contain spoilers. Please use the following header for log posts:
9. NC-17/R logs/posts MUST be behind a cut and properly labeled. Also, please try to remember to friends lock them. The last thing we need is some ten year old kid reading it and his or her parent finding out and getting us banned. If the rating or warning for a log changes, please remember to edit accordingly. Additionally, any swearing on the main page should be kept to a minimum or put behind a cut. And definitely should not be in large font.
10. Any OCs apped in this game may come from other games, dead or alive, or can be original to this game. You as the mun are responsible for answering any questions players may have about your OC's canon. You may decide to have them pulled from their world by God, or they can be native to this world as a character God has created on her own. Please state which option you want in your app.
11. Please consult any and all current players before you bring in a future/alternate/au/past version of their character. Do it before you apply, because we're going to ask about it.
12. No god modding, and no killing other people's characters without their express permission and without telling the mods first.
13. Please observe proper English and grammar in your posts. If you feel the need to use leetspeak, foreign languages, or any other language, please include an English translation. Nobody wants to take twenty minutes translating a thread or log. This site translates Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portugese, Russian and Spanish. This site translates text, binary, hex, base64, and dec/char.
14. Per the poll, strikethroughs are now to be treated as deleted text. What that means is that you cannot reply to it, cannot see it, cannot use knowledge of it in game. You as the mun obviously can see what it says, but no other characters can know what the struck out text reads.
15. Do not delete your posts from the community. Any post your character makes to the main or log comm is considered part of game canon, and as such should not be deleted. Unless the mods have given express permission to do so, please do not delete the entries. Anything made in your own journal is up to you, but the entries made in the communities affect more than just your character.
More rules will be added if necessary. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask us; we don't bite. [Unless asked. ;)]
