Is that right? You want the whole story? Cause you can see it every Sunday at 8. Or you could ask. Yes, she had it hard growing up. That doesn't really give her an excuse to make my life and the life of everyone I love hell. She moved heaven and earth, almost literally, to keep my parents apart. She made multiple attempts on my mother's life and when they didn't work, she made the person who failed at them miserable. Never mind how much she hates losing. So much that she's been willing to kill to get her way.

She may be trying to turn over a new leaf here but don't for one second think that means she was any less evil than the books portrayed.

. . . wow, bitter much? You know, you don't sound much more 'together' than she does and that's going by just this post. You want to make it all about you and your friends and how much their life sucked? Everyone's life sucks! Things happen that suck. So while you have someone to blame for it, maybe she does too.

I'm not watching any damn show, even the one that apparently I'm from. All I know is that people aren't born evil. Shit happens. I'm not saying anything she might have done was right, but I at least know that there's usually more to the story then the black and white you want to paint things. My mother pulled some shit too, but I'm not writing her off. I'm not giving up just because everyone else is. So I'm sure as hell not writing off someone I don't even know just because other people have a bug up their ass.

Oh honey, no. It isn't that our lives sucked. It's that she took them from us. Locked everyone in a Pleasantville style prison for twenty-eight years until their Savior came back. Until the baby who'd been separated from her family, who grew up angry with the world and hating everyone and constantly being someone else's chess piece, could somehow be dragged back to the little town where no one even knew who they were because she didn't even allow them that.

Yeah, maybe I am a bit unstable. But don't think she had nothing to do with that. Maybe if I'd been allowed to grow up properly, I'd be more sane than most. But my life is what it is and I deal with it. I still have a right to be angry and bitter. My son loves her, and for that I will defend her life. But forgiving past actions is a little more difficult and I think I'm allowed that.

Furthermore? There certainly is more to the story that you don't know.. That doesn't typically excuse a lifelong murderous grudge on a child.

So what you are saying is it doesn't matter if anything was wrong in her life, if maybe, just maybe, she is also a victim and lashed out. You are HER victim so free pass.

Look, no one is saying you can't be angry, or even that she shouldnt' pay for things she might have done. You all just keep harping on how she's trying to change but you won't buy it. All because you've been hurt. Seems a little like scapegoating to me. I get it, you have to draw a line in the sand at some point, but just because you were a victim, doesn't mean you were the only one. Or that the people you care about were the only ones. Nothing, NOTHING, is as simple as bad guy and good guy.

Side note, you weren't the only one fucked over by a fucked up childhood and murderous family. At some point, you stop blaming other people and just get on with your damn life.

Guess what, still not writing her off. So you guys can go all fairy tale happy endings and good guys are all good and bad guys are all bad all you want. Not how I plan on dealing with things.

All your arguing for how evil someone is, who by the way is NOT filtered out on the evil filter, is only telling me that I wouldn't trust any of YOU to have my back when shit goes down.
