So the next time Emily wakes me up in the morning and won't go back to sleep so I decide to see what's on television and I see a movie based on one of my books, please remind me not to watch it.

Some channel was showing an adaptation of The Time Machine from the year 2002, I believe it was. Adaptation my bloody foot. More like a completely different story than the one I bloody wrote. That backstory was highly uncalled for. The Eloi were wrong. The Morlocks were actually okay. The time machine itself was okay. The Time Traveller was wrong. Mostly. He was far too much like me The destruction of civilization was wrong. I'm mostly upset about that backstory with Emma

For the director of that movie to be the great-grandson of this world's H.G. Wells, I am most highly offended that he'd approve of that bloody drivel. Part of me wants to find this Simon Wells and give him a piece of my mind.

If that's what they did to The Time Machine, I don't even want to know what they did to my other works in the movies.

So, I was thinking about mmmmmaybe introducing some kind of theme night(s) at Purgatory. One day a week specifically for a new theme. Maybe it should be an every other week thing. I don't know yet!

What do you guys think? Theme night too cheesy? Totally brilliant? Also theme suggestions are welcome if you wanna kick some out at me!

From what I've seen there has been an illness going around. With it also being flu season and the fact I'm still breast feeding, I know that I should receive the flu shot. Does the Medbay have it in stock and if so, would it be possible for me to stop by this week? Preferably when Anatoly and Svetlana are not there.
