I've been thinking on this for the past few days and I've come to realization that I do not recall the last time I've seen you sleep. My new addiction to coffee has paid off. When asked by a random stranger what I would recommend while standing in line at my usual coffee shop, I asked a few questions about the sorts of coffee she preferred and how sweet she liked it. What I consider basic things but not everyone apparently considers them. We talked for a bit, something about my accent (she has an aunt who lives in Manchester, it seems), and she asked if I might be looking for work. Turns out she's the shop owner's sister and she put in a good word for me.

It seems I've been offered a job. I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but I'm grateful just the same!

I was doing a bit of research because of all the talk of this Dark fellow and what that boy said earlier. Upon my reading I learned that there is a Patronus Charm that helps wizards from my world create a Patronus which is positive energy in the symbol of an animal. I’m not certain, but do you think this might be useful if Mr. Dark does return to town?

Also, I don’t quite know how to create one yet, but I think many of those from my world must as when I looked it up there were a number of webpages for it. Therefore it must have been in the books and movies.

Well it took me a few days leave the hotel but I have finally. Barista Jam is misleading. No jam in sight. Not bad though, quiet. Nice view of the city without being thrown into the fray. The entire city is set up for Lunar New Year. I've discovered it's the year of the snake.

Snake people are naturally gifted healers.

Diplomatic and eloquent in areas of speech and writing.

Dynamically intuitive (often knowing other's thoughts and emotional states without trying)

Impulsive, but not without careful consideration. This may sound paradoxical, but those with the snake totem know what I mean here.

Enough.

I am glad everyone loves and wishes to protect Emma and Ruby from the truly loathsome person I apparently am, but I do not need to hear it from every person here in Lawrence. I am sorry you all feel personally wronged by things I never even did, but there are far worse things happening right now than this.

But since you all feel the need to speak your minds about this, I ask you let me have a turn.

- I have not willfully sought out Regina once since I made that promise to Emma, with the exception of the other night.
- The two times I have run into her, I did not turn around and flee like a little girl because I am an adult who can make her own decisions and have some concept of how to be polite.
- As if it's any of your business, but I have been hurting for weeks now and none of you truly stopped to even ask why or care.
- If anyone has a problem with me, I can leave. I'd rather not, but I can and I will to make things easier for everyone.
