Does...anyone know of a good way to get rid of nightmares?

So, jobs. I need one of those. And I'm hoping somebody here will be able to help me with that. I used to work as a forensic scientist for the Central City Police Department, but you know what, I'll take anything I can get right about now. And by anything, I mean anything that isn't completely ridiculous.

Why did you want a  companion,why does your Doctor, why does Sherlock? What do they do? Are they just useful or is it the loyalty thing. Thought that with Johnny Boy and Sherlock for a while but it doesn't seem to make sense.

I'm bashing out this at one of those marvellous typewriter/moving picture screen thingummies. Terribly good fun, aren't they? Lexi is attempting to teach me what a boodle or a gootle or somesuch is but I'm having such a spiffing time at this YouTube lark, with all the tiny moving picture shows of chaps falling off walls and cats wearing amusing hats and such.

I understand there's a great deal of apocalypse-related unpleasantness going on, as well as about ninety years' worth of history I'm supposed to catch up on. I have to say though, a more pressing concern at present is a quite dire and gasping need for a cup of tea. My valet Jeeves used to make it for me, you see, and I'm afraid I might not quite be up to the task myself, but I'm like a chap lost in the Sahara who knows there must be water nearby somewhere. Can anyone help?

I've written six new songs since being here. Apparently time travel is a good muse? Who knew!

I don't know how many people Dick and Jason are friends with here, but they're okay. They beat the hell out of each other with Jason resorting to shooting at Dick but they'll both recover with where I put them if Jason hasn't left already.

And if there's any confusion, yes, they beat each other up probably over a disagreement in philosophy about how to deal with things.

There are no more bombs in the building. I was able to use my x-ray vision to scan for them and picked up nothing else.

I understand you teach classes in fending for oneself and such. If so, I'm rather in need of a lesson or twelve. I've just arrived from the 1920s, you see, and I'm rather used to having servants about to do the cooking and cleaning and laundry and- well, just about everything, really. So if you have a class for the dunciest of the dunces, I suppose I'd better attend that one.

There was some kind of explosion in the kitchen... I'm sure most of you heard it, right? It wasn't just someone randomly blowing something up, I thought maybe my mom was cooki but it looks like it was something planted.

Nadiya was in the explosion. I don't know if she was the target, or if it was an accident, but She's in the medbay now, she was unconscious when I got down there so I don't know what happened, exactly. I'm pretty sure the doctors will be able to handle it I hope, so don't panic yet... but everyone should definitely be on their guard until we know what's going on, all right?

It took some doing but I'm pretty sure mom and dad are cool with Australia.

The last thing I want to do is incite a panic, but I think we also need to be sure that the bomb that just went off in the kitchen is the only one in the Complex. Can anyone do some kind of scan for explosives? The rest of us, anyone who wouldn't be hurt by a bomb blast should maybe start searching common areas and empty apartments in the meantime? This would be the perfect kriffing trap, drive us out into the street where any demon could attack us or stay here and get blown up.
