Jess told me what you did for me last night, I don't remember much of it but thank you. Really, and I'm sorry.

In summary: People are loud. They don't know how not to be. We appreciate your trying to think quietly, but realise it's difficult at the best of times. We know it is rarely the best of times. We do not need people to 'fight our corner' every time it gets loud.

Other 'readers': there is a garden on the complex roof. Karl showed it to me when I first arrived - a space for impossible things like creeping basil and winter strawberries. Plants think quiet thoughts, inoffensive: grow, drink, seek light, and they and I don't mind the company if the rest of the world gets too loud.

Non-readers: I would appreciate it if, when you're being loud, you could avoid the garden - it's not fair to say where you can and can't go, I know, and it's not a perfect solution but until we find one it would help.

Thank you for your attention. Keep calm and carry on.

This is a lot more down time then I'm used to. I have no idea what to do with it. Used to more of a military structure.

Hey, anybody want to go do something soon? I'm thinking a teen get-together with movies and pizza. Well, maybe not just teens, could maybe be people close to that age too. Or.. here's a thought, we could go out to see a movie at the theater. With popcorn and soda. Maybe an action movie, I guess. But I've been curious about that upcoming Green Lantern one. Now that would be a great guy to have on our team here

[Kitty]
Need me to do anything in particular in the Security room? I mean, aside from viewing footage, watching cameras, uplinking myself, or sending support advice to the field. Just let me know if I can do anything extra to help out here. As to the movie thing, maybe you and some friends might like to go too?

[Dawn]
Hi, how are you? I heard you moved out. I hope things are going good for you there. But anyway, I just wanted to ask. If I manage to get a group of us over here to go to a theater.. would you like to meet with us there too? You could even bring Buffy or a friend or two if you wanted. Well, depending on what movies you're into. I like action, but comedy is good sometimes too. Or maybe sometime we can all get a little meal thing at Pizza Hut and catch up on stuff.

What the fuck is it with chicks showing up and deciding that you obviously need to get fucked up with them for a good time? What ever happened to just writing music? Or making a film? Or playing chess? What is with all the fucking pretenses?

Fuck, it's April and Mimi all over again because the alcohol would lead to one thing then another

There is water!

ooc: Tess discovered the pool. If you happen to be on that floor and you hear lots and lots of laughter, it's Tess.
