Welcome to Pine Creek, Missouri. Population: 8500. But that's not including the population of the hellmouth that lies below.

To an outsider, Pine Creek looks like your typical, small Midwest town but those who have grown up in Pine Creek and those with a special awareness know to be afraid of what lies below. You see, the small border town of Pine Creek, Missouri sits on top of a hellmouth. What exactly is a hellmouth, you might ask? A hellmouth is a location of increased supernatural activity. A hellmouth is an area in which the barriers between dimensions are weak. A hellmouth is the very portal between earth and Hell. For those who are aware; some choose simply to ignore the supernatural occurrences, some try to educate themselves and others so as to better be equipped to battle the evil, and some choose to get their hands dirty and slay the evil. Which will you be?

You could choose to be Watchers (these are the educators), Slayers (those who do battle), Evil Beings (demons, vampires, ect...) and even those unaware. You might have a college kid, a school teacher, a mechanic. It's up to you and anyone one of these people might live their daily lives under the guise of normalcy while spending their evenings watching and battling evil.

So far we have 2 slayers, a watcher, a witch and a government agent. It's an informal group more like a PSL with more than just two players. It has a look of a game set up and we have it modded because we've been in small RPG's before and had OCC and IC problems. P R E M I S E Spring of 1843. The snow is melting. Soon, men will take their shovels to dig graves and the first casualties of the revolution will be laid to rest in the frontier town of Sedona. Lives have been devastated by a bombing and a train wreck. Ladies have become widows; children have become orphans. But life goes on. Those who have died will soon be out of mind. The shops sell their wares; more people want to own guns these days. Women sell their bodies. The saloons still serve drinks to people who want to forget about the world they live in, the people who used to live in it with them, and the people who still do. Some distance from the graveyard, in the Westonbirt Arboretum, flowers are blooming near the ground these bodies are hidden by. Their beauty will delight hearts that have been bowed by sorrow and fear. But these flowers will be cut and washed and their oils will be condensed and mixed and sold as magic. And the glass bottles they are sold in will become smeared by blood from the hands of the Victorian Company. The revolution has begun. The bodies that were just buried in the newly-thawed earth will be far from the last. This small town will become a battleground. Which side will you be fighting on? Perfume is an original western fantasy game set in the small town of Sedona. We offer a long-term plot and are always open to suggestions and discussion from members. We permit smaller plots, be they personal or game-wide. This game is literate and active. We are yaoi and yuri friendly, though due to the setting characters may not be. PROLOGUE

There's an elite boarding school an hour away from San Francisco that's dedicated to the education of children with superpowers: Veritas Academy. Veritas takes these children in and helps them control their gifts - trying to turn them into productive members of society. The lucky few become heroes and villains that are respected and feared the world over, but the rest also have real stories to tell. They are known as businesspeople, lawyers, doctors, academics, nurses, and teachers. They are the people you know, but never stop to truly wonder about. There are success stories and failures that are known everywhere, but not everyone can be Superman. The majority of the students remain virtually unknown to the majority of the public as they go about their everyday jobs and lead their everyday lives. The Veritas Alumni Association decided to follow the trend that had been set by Livejournal, Facebook and MySpace, and set up their own social networking site. It became known as something that old students use to keep in touch with friends, watch their enemies and complain about their everyday lives. Yet in between the complaints, arguments and laughs that the students are having, something is beginning to interrupt their lives: Someone is killing alumni, and no one knows who's going to be next.

PREMISE
You wake up to the smell of smoke. In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus. You wake up to the crackle of dead airwaves. Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. Two years have passed since Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort. Since then, the Wizarding World has been turned on its head. Minister Shacklebolt was murdered, his post taken up by the Elder of the Wizengamot, Tiberious Ogden, who has been shaking things up politically, leaving many Wizards not too happy with how he is running things. Fenrir Greyback, after months of terrorizing the Wizarding Community, has recently been killed by Aurors McGonagall and Potter, Kingsley Shacklebolt’s killer, Mafalda Hopkirk has been arrested and is facing trial, and Death Eaters are still at large, aimed for revenge. The Wizarding World is not safe.

While the Ministry works at keeping the magical world from experiencing another war, lives move on, people change, careers are built and relationships are tested. The next adventure awaits.

Post Bellum is a Post-War, Post-Deathly Hallows, non-Epilogue compliant Harry Potter Role-Playing Game.

Intentions They’ve hidden in the shadows; living among others. Your doctor, your neighbor, your teacher, or maybe even your cousin might be one of them. It’s within them at birth, living and lurking inside of them until something triggers it to be noticed by the body. The age of the trigger varies upon the person. It is not genetic, it is not fate, but it is merely random. A random newborn will be randomly holding a power. People with powers; abilities have been living with us for generations going unnoticed. Telekinesis, telepathy, precognition, super strength, everything that we thought only lie in comic books and TV are actually real; they’re very real. In 2002, a man by the name of Michael Williams exposed his powers; thus to the rest of mankind. He was an ordinary man, lived in the suburbs with his family and children. It wasn’t until he was thirty two years old his power triggered during work. The ability he had obtained was Telekinesis, and it became out of control. Because he didn’t know how to control his power, it went haywire and killed many in his office, including himself. The word spread quickly, and in no time did it reach the government. At first their intention was the hunt them all down and put them in private facilities, but then it was later discussed that they would go forward the situation in a peaceful matter. Gathering many scientists and people who could control their ability well, they set up schools for all ages to attend if they obtain a power, it is not an option. The school gives out classes twice a week teaching people how to control their power. Once their professors feel that they have full control of their power, they will be free to stop attending classes. Everything is fixed, right? Not really. Talk is spreading that the government is reconsidering the idea of gathering all people with abilities up and lock them up. Unfortunately many of the ‘normals’ agree to the idea. The idea is being discussed, but the probability of it is high. It’s causing anxiety and chaos within the ones with abilities, but there’s not much they could do but only wait and see what happens. I. Coming Soon. II. Not much really goes on in Superstition. They say it used to be Native Land. Caught between mountain and desert, one would think it would be an amazing place to grow up. Nah. It's just boring. To human eyes. Underneath the mundune surface of southwest small town, Superstition is a haven of activity that most people only know from stories and legend. Nightmarish creatures and unwitting people as neighbors, greeting each other at the mailbox, their kids going to school with things from story books, and blissfully unaware their co-workers might be not so human. _superstition revolves around the kids at the local high school, both human and non.
