But I know. I think I've always kind of known. It's just taken me a while to figure out that I ~~deserve~~ do want those things. I always wanted them, even if I can't offer you all of them back in the way you deserve. I don't have a name you can be proud of, or a family that will love you like you should be loved, or a home to keep you safe. But there's not a future I can dream up that doesn't have you in it and I don't want one that doesn't.
