Hello humans and non-humans.

I am Murderbot. I am a security unit, but I don’t know if that means anything to any of you, so: I kill threats. I don’t understand why I’m here and I don’t remember the ship entering a wormhole but as that is the only explanation that makes any amount of sense other than the obvious, let’s go with that. As for the obvious, I am told that I was not kidnapped. Which is good, because if you try to blackmail my humans into returning me to Preservation I will crack your ribs and pull them out of your nostrils, one by one, despite the mess it would make and the inherent disgustingness of the act. I do not like unknowns. So - sure. We’ll go with the fucking wormhole and memory gap explanation.

Is this an independent colony? The terraforming is excellent.

Still [...] be cautious. It is [...] better.

[...] Yes but the [...] situation is different. I am only [...] created of Morgan's genetic [...] code, plus how she [...] lost her memories is more [...] permanent.

To [...] explain; there is a [...] device called a neuromod where [...] I am from. Every [...] time you [...] uninstall it, you revert to who you were before it was [...] implanted, so whatever [...] years/experience you gained while you had it are simply [...] gone. They cannot be [...] relocated. Morgan went through enough [...] procedures she encountered not only [...] personality drift, but also [...] permanent memory loss. Her life [...] before is [...] fragments. But I am [...] willing to be proven [...] incorrect.

You are a threat to the humans here. I'll watch you and ensure that the threat isn't realized.

You're welcome.

Do you like media? I watch media when I am anxious.

I do not have [...] an anxiety response but I will [...] watch things. I do not understand [...] humans and find it best to learn where I [...] can.

I watch or listen to media because it helps me understand a lot about human responses to stress stimulae. And because a lot of it is fun as hell.

My favorite is The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon. It is an action adventure about a small group of humans trying to find a habitable planet to colonize. I will upload a few episodes to your feed for you to enjoy. It is a fun show, but not realistic. Also Randall is the worst.

Bad sci fi is more fun than sci fi that is trying to be very realistic, because realism is dumb when no one's makeup runs and everyone stays hairless and no human loses control of their bowels upon death. I prefer the bad because it doesn't pretend to be real.

What is the series?

It's [...] different. Like [...] me. And it is [...] fun to point out the [...] flaws.

It is called the [...] Starbender Cycle. I have been [...] unable to locate it in either [...] this dimension or the [...] previous one.

I have placed a flag on the query of Starbender Cycle should it be made available on the network. I understand that there are some instances of spontaneous appearance of items from home.
