Hey y'all! It's September already, which means there is a brand new menu at Rose Apothecary! This time I tried something a little different and all pies are available as vegan and vegetarian options. They are also fae-friendly because I know y'all were asking and I wanted to make sure everyone could enjoy the same things! ♥

You might notice that the pies have names this time around because a lot of baking comes from sharing with others and y'all have truly been a wonderful inspiration during my time here. I look forward to seeing everyone participating on Friday for speed dating where Jack and I will be checking you in and helping the gracious, amazing Alexis Rose. But also it is Beyoncé's birthday and we have to celebrate it in style!

Last, but certainly not least, for everyone starting school today, good luck! ♥ I know it can be tough, but let's make it a little sweeter and have a mini-pie on me to get through this first week!

Rose Apothecary Menu for September

Never had food named after me before. Think I might tear up a bit.

Oh goodness! Please don't cry! I learned all my French baking techniques from you, it's an honor to be able to name something after you!

To be fair, I'm learning half of what I know from the internet since things have come such a long way, so really we're in this together. I am looking forward to seeing what I taste like though.

The internet is a great resource, but there are some things ingrained in people who bake that you can't pick up unless you're in person! I hope you like you. The savory "pie" had to be the Porthos!

I'm sure I'll love it. Maybe we can plan one together for Aramis and Athos. Something sweet and salty.

Oh my goodness, absolutely! If we plan it right, they all would complement one another. Or one ingredient from yours makes it into each of theirs or vice versa. HMM.

Well, I like both of those ideas, so I'm going to need you to be the deciding vote.

I like them both too! There are plenty of sweet things we could make with rosemary. And the leeks might be good for salty. Or that could be the onions. This might require 24 hours to marinate appropriately in my baking brain!

You're making me hungrier than I already was.
