Not to add to the flow of confusing thoughts out there, but to the person considering what classes they ought to be taking: Death in Perspective sounds pretty fucking cool, I am just saying. I really don't know what Star Trek is and only have the bare minimum grasp of the concept of physics, but Death in Perspective. Do take this with a grain of salt as the only reason I got through my schooling was because my sister did most of my homework for me, as I was far too busy learning how to throw knives and hating my father as all angst ridden teens are, so I am not someone to give advice about higher education. But, you know, there's some unsolicited advice from someone apparently loosely affiliated with the goddess of death for you anyway.

Also, everything about your significant others is going to rot my teeth. It's very sweet.

PIKE

How are you doing, Pickle?

You seem suspiciously not as worried as I feel like other people who made deals with the goddess of death would be. I hope whatever you exchanged with her was worth it.

At the risk of stirring up another argument with my sister, I would say that it absolutely was worth it.

So it was controversal. Was it for her? That seems worth arguing about.

Hm, well. It very well may have been, yes.

I'm not judging. I'd be a hypocrite if I said I never did anything for someone else that was super dangerous.

It can be a difficult urge to tap down on.

Is this where you tell me your middle name is "Danger"?

Actually, little known fact, but my first name in full is Vax'ildanger.

I can see why you go by Vax. You don't want to start off on the wrong foot with strangers putting danger out there like that.

At the same time, perhaps it would be more honest. It really does lay the expectations out just where they should be.

Pshaw, expectations. Those are just the rules other people make for you. Maybe some people could use unexpected danger, and it would be their fault for not getting your full name first.

I rather like the way you think.

Except when it comes to super sweet things about my boyfriends?

Now that I think on it, I would be quite the hypocrite if I said that, so please, carry on with the sweetness.

Are you helping?

Well, there's not much to be done about the deal, I don't think, and I'm not really one for gods myself. But sometimes hearing an outside perspective helps shift our own way of thinking.

To be honest, I'm pretty bad with deals. And I don't listen when curses tell me I can't do something, because I'll just end up doing it anyway. Maybe that's my outside perspective? Do what you want?

Curses? Multiple?

Hmmmm, I appreciate the spirit of rebellion and independence! I think the idea of not allowing your life to be dictated by one particular thing/event/what have you is certainly sound.

Same curse, broke it multiple times? Sort of?

There sounds like a but in there.

A multi-curse breaker! That's quite the accomplishment. Especially if it's the same curse, the second go 'round is usually much harder.

Darling, I would never. It's simply that the deals in our world, with gods, with what have you, often come with more stipulations. Not always negative ones, mind you. Not always the most, ah, convenient either. However, to your point! Living a life in fear is certainly no way of living at all.
