Not to add to the flow of confusing thoughts out there, but to the person considering what classes they ought to be taking: Death in Perspective sounds pretty fucking cool, I am just saying. I really don't know what Star Trek is and only have the bare minimum grasp of the concept of physics, but Death in Perspective. Do take this with a grain of salt as the only reason I got through my schooling was because my sister did most of my homework for me, as I was far too busy learning how to throw knives and hating my father as all angst ridden teens are, so I am not someone to give advice about higher education. But, you know, there's some unsolicited advice from someone apparently loosely affiliated with the goddess of death for you anyway.

Also, everything about your significant others is going to rot my teeth. It's very sweet.

Usefulness is subjective, I suppose. I don't really know how it all works, but it couldn't hurt to sprinkle something in for the pure enjoyment of it, perhaps?

It's no worry. From what it sounds like on the network, I could be on the receiving end of much worse.

I've died twice, so I'm not entirely sure if the class would be for enjoyment so much as a streak of machoism.

I try to keep those thoughts especially private, for the sake of others and their privacy.

If he didn't take it seriously, I would be very concerned. I think he needs to use college as a way to study whatever he wants rather than what he thinks he has to. This is not new to him though, I tell him this all the time.

How are you loosely affiliated with the goddess of death? I didn't realize there was a sliding scale.
