These new teenagers we have are terrible at crime. I had another attempted pickpocketing in New Asgard this morning, and it was the sloppiest damned lift I've seen in years. What are the thiefmakers teaching them these days? Go home, practice on the dummy with the bells until you can do it without a jingle and try again.

If I were to do such a thing--and I am not saying that I would because this is clearly crime and I would never--I'd say my marks would probably be people who looked particularly fancy because they're the ones with the good shit and the confidence to think no one would ever try to lift off of them.

Hypothetically speaking, nobles are the best marks to pick. They're often full of themselves and of gold, and like to have their heads up their arses. Lawyers are another good option.
