Well, that was the second worst ten-day span of my life, thank you very much. The cats were certainly happy to see me again, so at least there's that (my thanks to to those who were able to care for them in my absence).

This whole experience has done nothing do much as make me even more curious of the magic in this place. I'd like to conduct interviews with anyone willing to discuss their magic with me; I've the most interest in magic regarding leylines or foresight, though I'm happy enough to talk any other sorts as well.

I have complete control now. Didn't until a few years ago. Been able to do it since I was born tho.

Were you always into this shit or did something big happen and then you were like fuck I need to know everything.

That must be a relief. I know nothing of your own dreams, but I doubt very much I'd like to see the things in mine brought to life. Were you able to get control back home, or did it come once you arrived in Vallo?

That's a little perso My magic isn't very strong. Learning everything I could about magic and how it works insured that I wasn't completely usele helple out of my depth.

Yeah, my nightmares tried to kill me a few times. Got ahold of it at home after a fuckface dreamer gave me some tips and I stopped wanting to di needed to get over myself to save my brother.

Is there no way for you to get stronger?

I'm glad to hear it. Did coming to Vallo affect your magic at all?

Nominally, no, a magician has what power he or she has, and there's no changing it. But just before I came here I learned of affinities and of drawing power from the land and ley lines, which I had, until then, thought was something that has been impossible for centuries.

Mostly just have a bigger pool of magic to pool from. At home, there's a lot less of it thanks to technology and capitalism and shit.

So are you looking to juice up?

Does technology and capitalism have an affect on your ley lines?

I think more than anything, I simply want to know how it works. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't also wish to have the power to perform something useful for onc something a little more complicated.

Yeah. Power grids and shit. Dims the line.

It might not work the same here as it would at home anyway. Might as well try to juice up if you can.

I'd not have thought of that, but my knowledge of ley lines is sadly lacking, and we don't have anything that I'd properly consider a power grid in the UK.

You're right about that, at least. The differences in magicks here are so vast that it probably won't make very much sense trying to compare them with home, but I suppose everyone needs a starting point.
