Well, that was the second worst ten-day span of my life, thank you very much. The cats were certainly happy to see me again, so at least there's that (my thanks to to those who were able to care for them in my absence).

This whole experience has done nothing do much as make me even more curious of the magic in this place. I'd like to conduct interviews with anyone willing to discuss their magic with me; I've the most interest in magic regarding leylines or foresight, though I'm happy enough to talk any other sorts as well.

No, it's just an expression. I'm a Seer.

Ah, that makes a little more sense. I wasn't quite sure if you'd made something to eat that would induce foresight or something of the sort.

What form does your foresight take?

I do have a spell for that, yes.

Visions. I see things in my mind. I can also see through illusions to the truth of something.

I imagine it must only work with people who have foresight themselves.

The latter seems a very useful skills to have. How long have you possessed your foresight?

No, a spell is a spell. You do have to have magic though, and it's not permanent.

I was born with it, but it started to manifest when I was 15.

That's very interesting. I wonder if that means that we're all capable of foresight of a type, or if it's only the magic of the spell that causes it.

Was there something specific that triggered it, like a brush with magic, or was it something that just occured with puberty?

Being a Seer in my world is a unique gift. Not all witches are Seers.

I think it was more that it was forcing its way out. I didn't know I had any power until it started manifesting on its own. If I had grew up knowing the truth I might have been able to access it earlier.

It's very rare in my world as well. There are currently three people who possess foresight in all the world that I'm currently aware of. Possessing magic of their own isn't a requirement either. It does beg the question of what your spell triggers in someone that they might be able to access it though.

That's interesting. Do you know any other Seers in your world?

What does any spell trigger? I'd guess it's the spell itself, not the person.

Yes. A few. Two more personally. They're my coven sisters.

So the person is more the conduit than anything else. I suppose that makes sense.

Have their experienced been similiar to yours as well?

No. The grew up knowing what they were and have had decades of training.

I suppose that must have put you at a considerable disadvantage. I hope they were willing to share with you their training.

Is there any danger in your type of foresight? Can, for instance, the Seer become trapped in a vision?

It was a rough start, long story, but they were, yes. Our powers are similar and they work well in conjunction or to amplify each other.

Not as far as I know or experienced. Visions will trigger on their own, but they never trap me.

Amplify how?

That must be a relief.
