Well, that was the second worst ten-day span of my life, thank you very much. The cats were certainly happy to see me again, so at least there's that (my thanks to to those who were able to care for them in my absence).

This whole experience has done nothing do much as make me even more curious of the magic in this place. I'd like to conduct interviews with anyone willing to discuss their magic with me; I've the most interest in magic regarding leylines or foresight, though I'm happy enough to talk any other sorts as well.

Keeping busy, huh? Wish I had more magical stuff to share, but as you know - I missed that boat.

You don't seem an worse off for it. I spent rather a lot of the last two weeks wishing I had none myself.

Have you been well since you got back?

Can't miss what you never had, no. The TVA's tech kind of skirted the line between magic and science though, I think. It's always a very blurred line.

Pretty well, yeah. Bigger showers are great.

I've heard other people prostate that magic and science are connected, though I wonder just how much that holds true. I have done a little reading on science to help maximize the effectiveness of my magic though.

And tea. I missed tea something dreadful.

I'd argue it's pretty accurate. If you ever want more books to read on the magic-science merging, I'm sure the Citadel has some.

Definitely that too. And should you ever find yourself around New Asgard, pop by for a cup sometime. I have a lot of different kinds.

I would certainly want more books on the subject, though I'll disagree on magic just being another type of science.

I'd like that. You're welcome at Morningside whenever you wish as well, though I'm sure it's not quite as interesting as New Asgard is.

I might have to go all debate team on that but I've always enjoyed that sort of thing. Healthy debate, I guess.

Oh, pretty much everything here is interesting. I don't know if I've been to Morningside much, come to think of it.

I'd be happy to open a debate with you. For one thing, science is supposed to react the same under the same conditions, no matter how often or who preforms it. It doesn't matter who mixes baking soda with vinegar, you'll get the same reaction. And yet, if you and I performed the same spell, I would have a reaction, no matter how small, and you'd have none. And if someone more powerful than I cast the same spell, it would be different again.

No? You didn't get an apartment here when you arrived?

One of the reasons I do trust science is because it's always changing though. "The only thing that remains constant is change," as they say.

I did, but I didn't stay in it for very long. I was in New Asgard right away, since I had people here I knew.

Perhaps, but only so far as new discoveries are piled on top of old ones. Gravity still effects everyone the same, regardless of how much power they possess. There aren't some people who are less affected by science than others.

It must have been something of a relief to already have people you knew when you arrived.

Really? I don't know about that. There's always outliers, in terms of environmental factors affecting us. I've also stopped aging, personally - is it because of magic or science?

It was, yeah. But I made some good new friends too, and that was just as much of a relief.

Was it only you who stopped aging?

I'm not really the type who makes friends very often.

At the TVA? Most likely not. But some may have stopped and then started again. Or not stopped at all.

Here you'll probably end up with a few you won't know what to do with, hate to break it to you.

Interesting.

I've been told my stay here is to be a period of isolation.
