Gray sat thinking, art pad to the side. A lot had happened in a short time. Quite a bit in fact and he needed someone to talk to that understood better then him what was going on around him. Thing was he didn't know many people there.
He thought over who all he knew and who all he trust to talk to and finally decided who to contact.
The man got up and went to his computer. Logging on he sent a quick message to his brother ask if he was up to visiting him still then to Devon remembering something she had said to him. After logging off he leaned back for a moment, thinking, before getting up to go get ready. Telling Echo and Kenzie about where he was going as he did so. |

When/where: Backdated to last night or so/the Harkness compound, the Hamptons
Why: Kyoko is sad, and Jack wants a hug
Warnings: I'm guessing no, at most swearing.
Jack had been serious when he'd said he was sad he didn't see his family more, especially considering they all lived in the same (albeit enormous) house. He navigated the halls easily enough, in search of Kyoko, already in worried-parent mode; admittedly, a strange feeling for him, but where his daughters were concerned, he couldn't help it. |

What: Going to go get booze, and then a maybe a crash
Where: Some random planet where there's hyperalcoholic lemonade
When: Starting yesterday Wednesday evening
Warnings: Lots. Cursing, some kinda blood/violence
Freddles had headed over to the house to meet up with one of her father's and one of her sisters. They were going to some planet to get lots of alien liquor and Fred was going to get to drive. After meeting up with Jack and Tree, they'd gotten into Jack's ship and headed off. This was nice, just the three of them hanging out together and she liked spending time with her family.
Their hands were full with lots of bags of booze, putting them back into the ship and ready to head home. "So am I driving us back home? Or do one of you guys wanna?" |

Who: Jack Harkness and Mia Jesbar
What: Drinking, at the Star Wars cantina
When/Where: Right the heck now-ish, starting in Central Park
Warnings: PG-13 for intense flirting situations, and much much boozing.
Jack couldn't help but hum along with the makeshift radio in the ship as he set her down, admittedly glad to be doing something social for once. He loved his family of course- and there were certainly plenty of them to keep things interesting- but he was above all else a social man. He needed the company of people he could talk to without the constant reminder of... everything.
Today, that person was Mia, which only served to make Jack's smirk wider. Not only was she beautiful (and unfortunately taken, Jack kept having to remind himself), but she was one of the good platonic friends Jack had in thsi place, which made her even more special in a way. It took a lot to keep Jack's attention without sex, but somehow, she managed.
Hopping down from the wing, he turned the invisibility shield on, and started towards the bridge where he and Mia usually met, looking around to see if she'd actually beaten him to the punch. Also not easy to do to a time traveler, but she was good. |

Who: Jack and... Jack the Sexy and... Oh, hell. The Sexy Jacks.
What: Hospital visitations, nostalgia, etc
When: Today. Was supposed to have been yesterday, but I fail.
Warnings: I'll keep you posted.
It had taken Jack a bit of detective work, but he managed to find the hospital Jack was laid up in, heading there the very-old-fashioned way; walking. How quaint. Strolling into the building, he had the fleeting thought- for all the Doctors he spent time with, he hadn't had need for a hospital in decades.
Stopping in the doorway to Jack's room, he realized briefly that it was times like this he wished he could transfer his 'gift' to his friends. Still, Jack looked better than he'd thought; enough to get a smile out of Jack, and a wolf-whistle.
"I'm loving the get-up. Antiseptic chic, I feel it." Shoving off the wall, he walked forward to Jack's bedside, giving him a peck on the cheek before settling in the chair next to him. "Lookin' great, baby." |
