Like the two previous HEP monthly award ceremonies, the Carrows were particularly gleeful about pointing out how wonderful things were, now that the HEP has been in place. They tried to encourage more students to join the group, highlighting how excellent involvement will look for the students' futures.
Amycus Carrow stepped forward, asking
PANSY PARKINSON,
DRACO MALFOY,
MILLICENT BULSTRODE, and
MATTHEW AVERY to stand up. Once they had done so, he stated, "Leading by examples, Ms. Parkinson and Mr. Malfoy have, once again, proven that they have been on top of things, with regards to catching and reporting the most number of student infractions. Ms. Bulstrode and Mr. Avery stand out during this past month for their involvement in catching Ms. Weasley for teaching younger students wrong and immoral things. I must remind all pupils of this institution that causing havoc without reason is abhorrent and everyone on this staff agrees with me. Behave appropriately and there will be no problem in the future."
All four students were handed medals that flashed "BEST OF JANUARY 1998" in bright green.
