The 8th Floor Breakroom

The 8th Floor has been a wonderful game for a year and a half, and Natasha and Jo both adore each and every one of you, but all good things must come to an end. We've reached the limits of both our interest and our creativity and just can't envision a way forward, so we've decided to close The 8th Floor at the end of May. We hope you've enjoyed your time with us and we look forward to playing with you in the future.

If anyone out there would like to take over, we will of course do everything we can to help you make the transition. If not, thank you very much for sticking with us to the end. Feel free to do whatever you'd like to close out your plots over the remainder of the month. We'll both be here to play along until the doors close.

An issue of Witch Weekly was on news-stands and was sent out to subscribers today as usual. Upon opening the magazine, readers were sprayed with the same liquid used in gobstones. The magazine was otherwise empty.

Hey guys! I know it might not seem like it right now, but Halloween will be here soon and we'd like to know what YOU think that means for the Wizarding World. Lee and Parvati will be hosting a party and there will most likely be a Ministry event as well. This is one of those "are you paying attention" things, so please comment with AT LEAST one idea or an example of what you DON'T want to see.

Also, we keep asking in every update for plot ideas and get pretty much nothing, so let's try something a bit different. While you're telling us what you want for Halloween, tell us something you'd like to have happen to each of your characters. Big, small, specific, abstract - doesn't matter. Nobody can help you make it happen if you don't get it out there. Big, game-wide ideas are more than welcome too, though, as are suggestions about whether you're looking for lighter or darker, more big events, more dead people, etc. Help us help you!
