I should be in school. I had a month left of my junior year before I got here. So now I guess I have two. I know I'm young to be almost a senior, but I tested into the fifth grade when I got back and skipped fourth. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway. I should be in school, but I don't know where that is, I don't have any books, and I only have one change of clothes. I have some money, so if I'm a truant, I might as well go shopping. Do we have the normal stores here, or are there specific places I can shop?

Ah, I see.

What got you into that?

Disney movies. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I watched Land Before Time and became obsessed.

Then I watched a movie with ballerinas, and became obsessed with them, too.

I'm a multifaceted person.

Is it really Disney if it’s from disgruntled former employees? It’s still a good movie either way.

Multifaceted is the only way to be. Otherwise you’re just boring. And bored.

Maybe not? Isn't that how we got Dreamworks?

I can get bored with too much to do. Boredom is more about focus for me than it is a lack of activity.

Is it? I imagine that's how a lot of animation studios popped up.

For me, it's mostly about my level of interest.

So do you knock things before you try them?

Rarely. Things like the Spanish Inquisition, yes. Otherwise, I'm usually open to trying most things. What about you?

No one expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Our chief weapon is surprise. Surprise and fear. Fear and surprise... Our two weapons are fear and surprise and ruthless efficiency. Our three weapons are fear and surprise and ruthless efficiency and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope. Our four... No... Amongst our weapons... Hmph... Amongst our weaponry are such elements as fear, surpr -- I'll come in again.

ahahahahahahah! OMG!!

This is incredible. People outside of my friends usually just look at me stupid when I say that.

People don't know Monty Python? I almost feel bad for them. They're missing a lot.

To be fair, it is really old when I'm from, but my brother watches everything, and some of my best friends are theater kids. So I've seen a lot of it.

Is it required to be a theater kid? I don't get that reference or grouping.

Is what required?

So every high school has groups based on extracurricular activities. Mine is pretty good about not being cliquey, but we do each have a base group. The theater kids do theater. They put on the plays and the musicals, they have a large general knowledge of nerdy things.

Knowing Monty Python.

Oh, I think someone kind of explained that to me once. Do you do the musicals and plays, too? Or just your friends?

Oh, no. It's just who I know who knows it.

No. I don't sing or act. I dance. I do ballet and some tap and contemporary. I helped with the choreography last year, but no. You're not going to see me in that kind of production.

Only the dance only productions?

Recitals. Okay.

What's the difference between a dance recital and a dancer performance/production?

Performance is usually a dance squad. A production is the Rockettes. A recital is The Nutcracker.
