I should be in school. I had a month left of my junior year before I got here. So now I guess I have two. I know I'm young to be almost a senior, but I tested into the fifth grade when I got back and skipped fourth. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway. I should be in school, but I don't know where that is, I don't have any books, and I only have one change of clothes. I have some money, so if I'm a truant, I might as well go shopping. Do we have the normal stores here, or are there specific places I can shop?

Is what required?

So every high school has groups based on extracurricular activities. Mine is pretty good about not being cliquey, but we do each have a base group. The theater kids do theater. They put on the plays and the musicals, they have a large general knowledge of nerdy things.

Knowing Monty Python.

Oh, I think someone kind of explained that to me once. Do you do the musicals and plays, too? Or just your friends?

Oh, no. It's just who I know who knows it.

No. I don't sing or act. I dance. I do ballet and some tap and contemporary. I helped with the choreography last year, but no. You're not going to see me in that kind of production.

Oh, I see.

Only the dance only productions?

Yes. Um. Recitals.

Recitals. Okay.

What's the difference between a dance recital and a dancer performance/production?

Performance is usually a dance squad. A production is the Rockettes. A recital is The Nutcracker.

Like cheerleaders, but with less tumbling and no pom poms?

Oh okay. That I can picture.
