     OK, I will admit that this prompt was inspired by a visit to the local SPCA to pick up a friend's new puppy, but then I got to thinking about what fandom could do with "pets", and all I can say is.... lj cuts, people! *g*

Um, have fun with this one? Think cute and fluffy bunnies, cuddly kitties, roly-poly puppies... and leather collars.
