Thanks for all the great responses to last week's prompt!
It was a challenge to come up with something not too bleak as we are in February, so I turned to Wikipedia, which says: February was named after the Latin term februum, which means purification, via the purification ritual Februa held on February 15 in the old Roman calendar.
Thus, our challenge is:

Challenge #45: Pure
