A shadowy flight into the dangerous world...

I haven't seen any of the other sites mention this yet. Came across this video on YouTube because I really want to watch it.

If you don't know what Stranger Things is, it's an original series by Netflix. A boy mysteriously disappears from his home and it's up to his mother and three friends to find him. It takes place in the 1980's and the tone is part Stephen King, part Steven Spielberg. Supernatural meets science fiction. I was hoping for a Knight Rider reference, but I didn't think they'd make one almost right off the bat. (And if anyone can figure out what episode that is, that'd be great. Definitely S2, from the sounds.)

I saw one of the shots of the show's opening at the very beginning. It was very quick, especially when they come back from local commercials.

The new season premieres March 31st. For the previous two, ('The Sixties' and 'The Seventies'), the first episode has usually focused on TV trends for the decade they're discussing.

I'm a slight history and pop culture trivia buff, and really enjoy this series, so I'm glad they're featuring Knight Rider.

(Apologies for not reporting on this show earlier. My dad passed away recently, so things have been busy and hectic.)

Sadly, we don't get this channel. Maybe more clips will show up on YouTube. Sounds like it's getting better praise than the short-lived A&E reality show.

A reminder that there will be a two-part Knight Rider themed episode of Fast N' Loud at 9-11pm (EST) Monday night on the Discovery network.

Vintage 80's NBC 'Be There' Bumper, featuring Michael Knight's first driving test.

Wow. lol

Actually, I'm looking for the bumper that came on during the commercial breaks. It would have the shot that my icon is from, with the Knight Rider logo at the top, and the announcer would say, "Knight Rider will return after these messages."

If anyone knows where I can find that, I would love to see it again.

Cristina and Dr. Thomas

“Who would have thought that Cristina and Dr. Thomas (William Daniels) would become best buds? Cristina even considers him her Minnesota Meredith and that's high praise, indeed. I love their dynamic: teasing and fun but with an undercurrent of mutual respect and caring. One of my big frustrations with the show is that Cristina, despite her growth over the years, is often written as an unfeeling person who puts surgery above all else. Nothing could be further from the truth.

When Cristina Yang cares about you, she will go to the ends of the earth for you. And that's just what she did with Thomas, coming to his aid in hopes that he wouldn't be forced into retirement. I don't know how long Cristina will stay at The Clinic (I mean, she's got to come back to Seattle eventually...right?) but I love the Yang/Thomas relationship. Now if we can just bring him to Seattle, too.”

I've got a friend that keeps pressuring me to watch his DVDs of Grey's. I just have too much going on right now with RL and side projects to get into yet another drama. (He was also evil in giving me the first season of Once Upon a Time. Now I won't get anything done.)

But he knew the second William Daniels came on board that I'd be watching it. (If only for his scenes.) ;)

"Boy Meets World" fans, rejoice! Mr. Feeny (okay, his real name is William Daniels, but we'll continue to think of him as Mr. Feeny until we die) is coming to "Grey's Anatomy."

TVLine reports that Daniels has been cast as the doctor who will oversee the medical board examinations at Seattle Grace in an upcoming episode.

The episode, which was directed by series star Kevin McKidd, doesn't end well for all of our favorite characters. Sandra Oh tells us that one of the Seattle Grace docs won't pass the test, and another will walk out.

Knight Rider-related or not? I feel it's the funniest, most epic sketch Robot Chicken has ever done. And I've seen nearly episode. It's worth staying up for. XD

Viewers, prepare your TiVos: There's a sure-to-be shambolic new reality show in the Hoffing.

A few weeks ago, reports surfaced that David Hasselhoff might be bringing his trainwreck life to the airwaves (spurred on by his daughter's since-rescinded twitter claim that the show was a done deal). And while no air date has been set yet, the reality project appears to be inching its way toward, well, reality.

"We are in discussions about the possibility of a series, but nothing official at this time," a rep for A&E tells E! News.

Well, somebody's gotta replace those Gosselins.

Teenage Hoffspring Hayley and Taylor, no strangers to candid-camera footage, are expected to appear alongside their dad, a detail seemingly corroborated by Hayley earlier this month.

"The Hasselhoffs signed the deal with A&E…Get readdyy for it," she tweeted in a post that has since been removed from her page.

It should surprise no one that ex-wife Pamela Bach will not be appearing in the show.

Apparently, you don't hassle an ex-Hoff, either.
