(For those of us who haven't cut the cord yet.)

SyFy is showing Knight Rider off and on. (It's on right this minute.)

Starting at either 5 or 6 AM (EST), depending on the day, and then going on until 1 in the afternoon. They're also skipping eps, and alternating days with other shows, calling it 'SyFy Rewind'. (It'll be on starting at 5 AM tomorrow/Friday morning.)

Charge has widdled down airing KR to 1-2 PM (EST.) They, too, have been skipping episodes. I have a feeling they may soon drop it from their lineup.

As always, check their websites or on your cable guide for listings and airdates.

If you have Comcast / Xfinity like us, they're already starting to take those channels off the air. They're also going to be dropping the main STARZ premium network from their lineup. (If they expect us to pay extra for Epix, I have news for them.)

As of this post, you can still watch KR in re-runs on STARZ Encore Action (or at least for MOST of this week), but I can't guarantee how long that will be the case. (Or how long you can access KR via OnDemand under By Network, STARZ, Timeless TV.)

Yes, I own the series on different DVD sets, but it was nice to see it on TV in re-runs again. Especially on a network like STARZ-Encore. Hopefully another channel on our provider will eventually air it.

I'm more mad that this will affect Outlander, but this is why I collect my favorite shows on physical media, so I have them during these disputes and eventual transitions.

Starting Tuesday, 10/1/19, Knight Rider will air on STARZ/Encore Action, and the new airtime will be somewhere between 11:50 and 11:52 PM EST.

STARZ/Encore has also shown KR at random times in the mornings over the past few months. I don't know if that's going to continue. Check your local listings.

It looks like Miami Vice will air right before Knight Rider, so if that's another 80's action show you might be interested in, there you go.

STARZ/Encore Classic will be airing episodes of Knight Rider from 8:00 PM Monday night, to 8:50 PM Tuesday night. (EST, check your local listings.)

Most of the episodes will be from S1. (There will be a handful of S2 eps towards the end.)

I saw one of the shots of the show's opening at the very beginning. It was very quick, especially when they come back from local commercials.

The new season premieres March 31st. For the previous two, ('The Sixties' and 'The Seventies'), the first episode has usually focused on TV trends for the decade they're discussing.

I'm a slight history and pop culture trivia buff, and really enjoy this series, so I'm glad they're featuring Knight Rider.

(Apologies for not reporting on this show earlier. My dad passed away recently, so things have been busy and hectic.)

Kitt skits and Baywatch pathos: have you been watching Hoff the Record?

Sadly, we don't get this channel. Maybe more clips will show up on YouTube. Sounds like it's getting better praise than the short-lived A&E reality show.

I don't have the day or the time, but David Hasselhoff will be appearing on an upcoming episode of Tanked, which airs on Animal Planet. I did catch David's interview on The Insider and he said he appeared on the show because he's interested in the conservation of sharks.

If anyone out there is headed to Comic Con (SDCC) this year, David and the rest of the cast of Sharknado 3 will be there this Friday, and there WILL be a Knight Rider display with a KITT replica on hand again. (I checked the other sites and it doesn't look like they're promoting any KR-related merchandise or projects this time around.)

Speaking of merch. (Did I really just spell it merch? Ugh.)

Knight Rider is being released on blu ray... But, it's a Japanese release, and will cost $600.

Also, if you read the thread, you can purchase the entire original series in HD via Google Play, minus the episode Dead of Knight. (Due to music rights issues.)

On July 1st, Netflix will be removing all four seasons of Knight Rider (1982-1986) from its line up. (I don't know about the 2008 series, or if they even still offer it.)

Samsung Galaxy Gear: A Long Time Coming.

I've seen it, though I haven't had a chance to hear it yet. But there's clips of both Michael and Kitt from Knight By A Nose, and Knight Strike. Not to mention countless other shows and fandoms that use a similar device to the comlink.

If you have OnDemand, go to the OnDemand menu, TV Shows / By Network / TVGN / Count It Down, then select Guiltiest Pleasures.

Knight Rider came in at #15. Above shows like Honey Boo Boo, Dukes of Hazzard, and it was just above Saved by the Bell. (And below The Bachelor.)

“Who would have thought that Cristina and Dr. Thomas (William Daniels) would become best buds? Cristina even considers him her Minnesota Meredith and that's high praise, indeed. I love their dynamic: teasing and fun but with an undercurrent of mutual respect and caring. One of my big frustrations with the show is that Cristina, despite her growth over the years, is often written as an unfeeling person who puts surgery above all else. Nothing could be further from the truth.

When Cristina Yang cares about you, she will go to the ends of the earth for you. And that's just what she did with Thomas, coming to his aid in hopes that he wouldn't be forced into retirement. I don't know how long Cristina will stay at The Clinic (I mean, she's got to come back to Seattle eventually...right?) but I love the Yang/Thomas relationship. I've got a friend that keeps pressuring me to watch his DVDs of Grey's. I just have too much going on right now with RL and side projects to get into yet another drama. (He was also evil in giving me the first season of Once Upon a Time. Now I won't get anything done.)

But he knew the second William Daniels came on board that I'd be watching it. (If only for his scenes.) ;)

The G4 network is re-airing episodes of the original series from 11AM-1PM, and reruns of those at 3-5AM. (Both Eastern time. Check your local listings.)

Looking at the schedule from tvguide.com, it's airing through at least October 13th. So it might be that they're rotating from Quantum Leap to something else.

"Boy Meets World" fans, rejoice! Mr. Feeny (okay, his real name is William Daniels, but we'll continue to think of him as Mr. Feeny until we die) is coming to "Grey's Anatomy."

TVLine reports that Daniels has been cast as the doctor who will oversee the medical board examinations at Seattle Grace in an upcoming episode.

The episode, which was directed by series star Kevin McKidd, doesn't end well for all of our favorite characters. Sandra Oh tells us that one of the Seattle Grace docs won't pass the test, and another will walk out.

Knight Rider-related or not? I feel it's the funniest, most epic sketch Robot Chicken has ever done. And I've seen nearly episode. It's worth staying up for. XD

I admit I don't pay that much attention to car commercials. (They make me pine for our fandom's olden days.)

However, maybe someone at Honda is trying to reach out to the fan base.

1983kitt: Has anyone else seen the new honda commercial where the guy is standing with the salesman and he asked him about its options throwing in , micro jammer, artificial intelligence, bullet proof, ejector seats. While watching it i couldnt help but realize he was talking about kitt.
