I'm sorry to report (via Knight Rider Archive), that original series writer, and producer, Robert Foster, has passed away at the age of 72.
Among the episodes he worked on were Hearts of Stone, Short Notice, Goliath, Soul Survivor, Diamonds Aren't a Girl's Best Friend, Goliath Returns, Knight of the Drones, and Knight of the Juggernaut. He also went unaccredited for contributing to countless other scripts.
We KR fans have much to thank him for. Especially the stories he shared with fans of his time and experience working on the original.
