I'm thinking of getting a new job or taking some classes somewhere or something. I just need something to do. Sitting at home is totally boring, so I'm going to look for a job and hopefully find one that's less exciting than working for Torchwood. Not that I didn't like my old job, I'd just prefer it if my next one could be quiet and boring. Maybe it could involve filing or typing, I wouldn't mind that.

I also totally need some new books if I want to keep doing the research thing for Buffy, my collection's... lacking.

I do not know how I feel about these 'modern' clothes.

They seem very impractical. And cold.

Something really "amazing" just happened. I was driving south from Maine to Lousiana, and I was about halfway through the state of Kentucky when I woke up in New York. I'm not denying that it's not better than some of the crazy things that could have happened, all things considered. Like, say, inbred hillbilly psychopaths a la Wrong Turn. But it's also not exactly what I had in mind either, so...maybe someone can explain?

Someone wanna tell me what the Hell's goin' on here? Can't really blame it on a hangover, 'cause I don't really do hangovers. But someone needs to start makin' with the answers before I get pissed off.

I'm finally back at work. I never want to have four weeks off from work again, it was way too much time at home. I swear, I never want to watch daytime television ever again for as long as I live. Do the people that end up on Dr. Phil actually vote? That's actually pretty terrifying.

Also, I can now stop complaining about being bored. I'm sure everyone is totally thrilled about that.

Ah, New York City. How I've missed this.

It has been far too long, I must say.

New city, new people to help.

It seems like there's a lot more people who need the help here. I guess I'll just have to work harder. That's all it takes really. Hard work...and determination. And optimism. You need a lot of that. I mean, you just have to see the good in people, and want to make a difference.

Still...I kind of wish I knew how I got here. Usually you remember moving somwhere new.

I seriously don't think I can just sit around here without a job. It hurts too much to just think. So, if anybody has anything in particular out there- I'm willing to see what I can do.

I'm okay. Everything's fine. I'm good to start back at work tomorrow, as long as Buffy stops hovering around me and actually lets me leave the house. Or it might become a 'bring your big sister' to work day. I promise to make her sit in a corner and not to let her touch anything.
