It was clear there were people with some extraordinary abilities here. She may have the knowledge on how to build a camp, but there were people here who could get the work done so much faster. Sara wasn't surprised by that anymore. In a world full of super powered people, she had to rely on her training to keep herself useful. Which was why she had a list of things she wanted to build besides her own shelter and ways to benefit the community. She was going to build weapons, and a training course for herself, much like the one Oliver had on Lian Yu. Sara was almost always armed. She had arrived with her bowstaff and a number of knives hidden around hr body. The knives were somehow all dull, despite the fact that Sarah took incredible care of her weapons. Her bowstaff was still functional, but she didn't really need to fight anyone here. The site she had chosen for herself was a work in progress. There was one small sheltered area for sleep that could fit just herself. A few feet from that was the large shelter she was working on. She had a lot of plans for it, but she wasn't rushing. The location she had selected was sheltered, so it should stand against the weather, but she was going to take her time and get it done right. This was going to be her home, she was going to make it as strong as possible. Her knives and staff were all laid out on the ground, along with the materials she had woke up with. The hatchet had come in handy to build a number of rudimentary weapons. She had created a spear, and was in the process of building a bow with a number of arrows. While she planned to hunt for the whole camp and share any meat she had, she had plans for animal bones, skins and fur for herself as well. Sara raised the bow in progress, notching it with one of the arrows she had managed to complete and took aim at a tree close to camp, testing the feel of the weapon. It had been a while since she had to make one for herself, but the skills were there. |
