Lydia joined the laughter with a soft huff of her own amusement. "If I had an alarm, I could be up before you so I wouldn't be wasting your time stretching and warming up," she pointed out, "but unfortunately I don't have one. So, if you don't mind, I'd really appreciate it. It probably shouldn't take me more than a week to adjust. And that's overshooting it a little to be on the safe side."
When Sara started to work again, Lydia took that as her cue to mirror the motion, doing the same. "I guess that depends on who you ask," she sighed, frowning. "Seeing as how apparently all five of us seem to have come from different points in time."
It wasn't an actual answer to the specifically asked question, but it was something that was bothering her all the same. If they weren't from different points in time, she wouldn't feel like she was on the outs with Scott, because the conversation with Malia never would've happened in the first place, which meant that she would be a lot less likely to proactively start looking for other people to teach her the skills she needed to survive outside the pack.
