I'll be in the TARDIS if anyone needs me. In fact, I'm not planning to leave it. That's right. I'm staying inside. I'm not even going to go to work. They can fire me if they like, though really, I don't see any reason the students can't teach themselves until I e-mail them the final.

So... what was that, some sort of transmat? Well, bravo, glad you managed to make it work.

Fair warning, though. My 'greatest wish' isn't possible and my 'fondest desire' isn't here, so send me back to my proper time/reality/whatever before I find my own way. And I will find a way.

Shot to death. Shot to death on my way to get a pint of milk. I believe that out strips 'twenty foot fall from a radio tower' as my most embarrassing death yet.

At least shot in gang fight crossfire as a bit of flare to it.

Right then. Since the three bloody Doctors we have here no one else appears to be doing this, I suppose it falls to me.

What we have on our hands right now are a group of ancient assassins known as Weeping Angels, amongst other things. Contrary to popular belief, they are not made of stone. They simply appear that way as a defense mechanism whenever any sentient being is looking at them. While this is all well and good, this also means that any stone statue in this city could, in fact, be one of them. So do keep that in mind if you're bloody foolish enough to wander about.

As everyone has likely figured out by this point, they are not invulnerable. However, they are quite fast and extremely deadly. Firearms will work if they are the right caliber but they rarely travel alone so make certain you've plenty of ammunition if you're reliant upon a weapon that needs it. No, they cannot be reasoned with. They also will not leave you be unless it places themselves in danger to follow you. More on that in a bit.

Now. If you want to survive this rather nasty invasion of Weeping Angels, here are some very basic rules to follow.

Now, there is quite a bit of lore surrounding these creatures but that is neither here nor there. For now, the safest course of action is to not travel alone, avoid going out after dark, and call for help if you need it.

If you've any questions, bother the bloody Doctors feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer. Otherwise, stay safe and, with any luck, we'll all make it through this in relatively one piece.

( Filtered to the Doctor (all three of them) )

( For once, Charley sounds less than composed. In fact, she sounds freaked out and more than a little scared )

What are these things? They're not...I've never seen anything like this...

( There is a strain to her voice as she continues )

I'm holding them back, but I can't keep them that way indefinitely and I'm not certain I can get away like this. I have to keep my eyes closed to keep a hold on them. But if I lose my grip...

( She takes a shaky breath. )

If someone could help, I would really appreciate the assistance.

( OOC: Since the Stone Angels only exist when they're not seen, Charley can only use her telepathy to hold them back when she has her eyes closed, just to clarify in case anyone was confused. )

[For a moment, there is nothing but breathing that is a bit on the heavy side. Jenny finally speaks, her tone even but clearly alarmed.]

Dad? Dads? I really hope at least one of you are hearing this.

[a pause]

I could really use some help, if one of you can manage it. It's just that... well... [a sound of someone shuffling backward]

There's a Weeping Angel here. A few of them, actually. So I can't exactly blink. Or run. Or, well, do much of anything. So if you could - [she laughs a bit sharply] - well, I really don't know what, but much of anything would be appreciated.

[a little more shuffling is heard]

I haven't the faintest idea how a tree got into the flat, but I'm quite impressed by whoever left it. It must have been quite difficult to get the lights into a double helical structure. It certainly had to have taken a lot of work.

Doctor, it appears they had a fondness for you as well. While I can't speak to the significance of every ornament, one resembles your ship.

I really do enjoy the winter weather, but I do wish the holidays would come sooner. My students are getting more and more restless and getting them to focus is not unlike herding cats. I'll be relieved when winter break comes. I haven't the patience for teaching. I belong in a lab, not a classroom. Oh, if James could see me now.

Question. Will there be Christmas? If so, I propose, Doctors, that we start preparing now for the disaster followed by running.

What an utter load of rubbish.

Well, that was certainly unsettling.

If it's all the same, as it seems to be, I think I prefer my own version of events.

Right. So, River is here. Except she's not River. She's Melody. And that's bad. It's very bad.

Melody was raised to be a weapon. Specifically a weapon to kill me. Us. Really it's us, because there's three of us and she won't care that we're not all the same. She is very, very clever and very very dangerous. Oh, and she's an utter psychopath. And she's killed me twice. Sort of. It's all very complicated. The point is that you really shouldn't underestimate her.

Really. I mean it. She is dangerous and she will kill you. A lot. She knows how to kill a Time Lord...mostly because she's a bit Time Lady herself. She is a brilliant shot. Just believe me when I say she is very, very scary. And she can kill you. I cannot stress that enough.

Jenny, Ianto, you met River. But this isn't River. So don't think she's anything like her. She will have no qualms about killing you to hurt us.

What are your names Lily? Remus? Severus? I'm sure you're rather confused as to why you're included in this. Well, Lily and Remus...you look rather exactly like Amy and Rory. And they're her parents. So she will notice you. And probably not in a good way. And better safe than sorry. So...be careful.

I think that's it.

Anomaly is it, then? That's certainly a different way of putting it. I'll give you that much.

Now. Who do I need to shoot in order to get off this bloody rock already? Places to be, you see. Really can't stay.

Such fascinating architecture. Were whoever is responsible for bringing me here not so terribly rude in their presumptions, I might very well be inclined to compliment them on it properly.

A mummy just wandered into the clinic. That isn't the start of a bad joke, either.

I think it's safe to say my day just became much more interesting.

Must say, I really do like this place. It has character. In more ways than one if I'm reading some things right. Not sure how I feel, being called an anomaly, but I've been called worse.

Roll call! I'm mostly worried about finding a Luke Smith, but I figured now would be a good a time as any to get to know my neighbors seeing as we're supposed to 'build a life' and all. Personally, I think 'form an escape plan' would be more exciting. But let's just start with hi, I'm Rose.

Well, now. I must admit, I find myself intrigued by this little development.

I am quite curious to see what happens next.

It's nice to see this, bit of inclusion all around, but it would be nice if someone had asked before kidnapping me this time. I'm getting right sick of just being snatched to places. Especially when I end up alone.

Anyone seen two guys and a gal anywhere together? One strapping military type, one dainty little nerd, and a sweet as you can be blond?
