Hi, all! It's Fran, and I know quite a few of you. 👋 I just have one with me right now: horror teen Eddie from Stephen King's IT. He's a very high-strung teenager who means well despite his constant cursing and rather aggressive ways of expressing affection. Like your typical teenager, he thinks he knows ~all about the world~ when in reality, his negative experiences growing up in cursed-as-fuck small town America have ultimately made him a full-blown cynic and skeptic. It'll take a while for him to ease up, particularly around older folks, who he firmly believes don't give a shit (he'll come around!).
What I love about playing Eddie at this age is that there's a lot of growth potential as he meets new people and cultivates some self-confidence. Initially, he'll be concerned with identifying the other teens hanging around and sticking close to them if possible, but he'll definitely come around the longer he's here. For all Eddie is a fussy, anxious stick in the mud, he does loosen up. Occasionally.
I'm excited to jump in!
