It took Alasdair a moment to react, hoping that for once this was a case of that bloody French article not going any further, but then, that one didn't exactly show his face.

"Aye, that's me, for my sins," he grins, shaking the other man's hand. "And I daresay you'll be having an easier time of things over here than ours is, so have fun with that."

Alex tactfully doesn't comment about the rival team, but he's definitely been drawing his own picture of the situation, and it's decidedly bleak. He continues to smile. "Might be apples and oranges, but time will tell. Ada's really great. I'm sure she's already told you, but I have wrote a few contacts in the hospitality and entertainment industry if you guys need any help with the upcoming wedding. I'm more than happy to pass them along."

"I'll be honest with you, I'm just OKing what Ada wants for the most part. Buchanan tartan excepted," he adds, rolling his eyes a little in his own amusement. "But otherwise, what the bride wants, the bride gets. We're just keen on keeping things private, really. We've never been one for personal, couple type interviews," he shrugs, his tone light.

Chuckling, Alex gives the other wizard a nod. "I doubt your the first or even last man to take that stance when it comes to the wedding ceremony and all its incumbent trappings. The most important thing is the marriage, though. Everything else is just window dressing- at least that's what I've heard. Never had the pleasure myself."

He smiles again, hands going casually into his pockets. "Yeah, Ada told me about that, and it's completely understandable. I'll do whatever I can to keep it that way for you guys."

"We've been living together for two years, so at this point it's just the whole making it official thing," Alasdair explained. "Had a place in Paris before, decided it was time to come back to Scotland this season and here we are in what is possibly the most opposite type of place there could be," he chuckled.

Alasdair nodded in appreciation. "We're grateful for that. I know Gwen wanted to try and get us a few interviews and things, but it's not our style. Offering a photo or two instead was our very mature sense of compromise," he laughed again, thinking of how silly the whole thing sounded.

"Hopefully that'll be enough to sate the savage press beast," Alex says with a tiny smirk. "Anyway, I'll let you get back to the game. Ada's pretty great on the posts. I'm really excited to see what she gets to do with the rest of the season."
