Minor Injury Meme

A meme for those minor injuries that won't leave you down but make it hard to live your life. The breaks, sprains, and the hurt/comfort that comes with them.

INJURIES

1. SPRAIN: you stepped the wrong way, twisted the wrong way, and something has gone terribly wrong. Just remember RICE - Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.

2. FRACTURE: You step off the sidewalk, working in the backyard, and suddenly BAM!! But it's not a sprain, oh no, you're in a cast for the duration. Good luck trying to get to work.

3. PULLED: It's not bad enough for medical attention but it still hurts something fierce. Break out the tiger balm or someone to give you a hand because you've pulled something. That awkward moment when you think you want vicodin...and nobody will give it to you.

4. MIGRAINE: Light hurts, air hurts, moving hurts. All you can do is lie in a darkened room and pray for the pounding pain to go away behind your eyes.

5. THE FLU: Maybe you're physically fine – well… all your limbs are working. You just feel like death warmed over.

6. WILDCARD: Anything else you can think of.

SCENARIOS

1. INJURED! WHAT NEXT?: You're out working, you're out having fun, you're out doing something when suddenly you step, twist, move and our bodies demonstrate just how fragile they really are. Quick! someone call the ambulance!

2. THE EMERGENCY ROOM: All the fun of a waiting room with rewards that include crutches, casts, X-Rays, vicodin, and sometimes just that one nurse who says "Yeah there's nothing wrong with you that'll be 400 dollars."

3. HOME AND SETTING UP THE NEST: Hurt, trying to make a space for you to get around. Hopefully someone is there to help you get to your crutches so you can go to the bathroom and make yourself something to eat.

4. PHYSICAL THERAPY HOME EDITION: The obligatory smut option. Do you not see that I'm wearing this cast?

5. OH GOD HELP I'M GOING TO DIE: That awkward moment when the fact that you are bedridden is crushing down on you and you're terrified you'll do something to make the injury worse. Snappish, angry, and rude - who are you going to take it out on?

6. DRIVE ME TO THE DOCTOR THIS SHIT IS COMING OFF: It's time, they say you can come in, take it off, and begin the next stage of recovery. Failing that, you’re going to grab a saw and cut the damn thing off yourself! Will there be joy, laughter, crying, happiness?

7. WILDCARD: Anything else you can think of.

"Daniel Anthony, you're gonna get me all turned on again." He said, nudging him in the shoulder. Watching Daniel finger himself was really hot. Biting his lip, he tugged Daniel close and kissed him. "But yeah, I'm ready. Let's go, we're already late. Even if it is my fault."

It was, but Peter took solace in the fact that Tony would probably be really proud of him if Peter told him the reason why they were late. Tony was already assuming they'd get married, and honestly, Peter was hoping that was in their future. Daniel had been the best boyfriend anyone could ask for.

Peter reached down and laced his fingers with Daniel's, and used his other hand to brush his fingers through Daniel's hair. "Okay, you definitely looked like you just got fucked." He said, a smile playing on his features. "It's really hot. We might have to do that again when we get home."

Daniel flushed. "Well I did just get fucked," he huffed as he tried to make himself look less fucked. If anything he made it look worse. Hopefully everybody would be too busy focusing on Tony to even notice.

"You know I'm always up for round two. Maybe next time we'll even make it to the bed. How are we gonna do it, babe? You gonna take me from behind? Missionary? Have me ride you?" Daniel whispered, purring as seductively as he could. He was a tease. He couldn't help it. Peter brought that side out of him.

Peter shivered at the sound of Daniel's voice. "You better quit, or you're never getting in my pants again, mister man." Peter told him, reaching down and grabbing Daniel's hand, tugging him out of the bathroom. "Get your car keys, we gotta go." He said, as firmly as he could.

He wasn't getting nervous again, but if he didn't hurry them along, they'd end up fucking again. Peter never thought he'd be threatening to keep his legs closed to Daniel, but apparently he was. Peter's face was flushed, and he was sure that anyone could tell he'd just gotten fucked, too. He grabbed his phone and went outside to wait by Daniel's car, hoping Mr. Miyagi wouldn't pick now to come home.

Daniel gasped. "You wouldn't! You wouldn't ban sex! You couldn't!" He whined a little as Petter tugged him along. He doubted Peter would actually ban him from getting in his pants again, but he also knew his boyfriend was stubborn enough to do it.

He grabbed his car keys and tugged on his sneakers as he stepped out of the house, trying not to trip over his own feet. He locked the door and bounced over to the car, ignoring the ache in his lower back.

"Yeah I could." Peter said, arching a brow. "I love you, and you're sexy as hell, but I'm a Daniel LaRusso junkie and sometimes it gets in the way of real life. So yeah, I could." He also knew Daniel was a little nympho, and could use some tough love, too.

Peter climbed in the car, he could have easily done so before Daniel unlocked it, but he didn't like to use his spidey powers for ordinary things. It would be a slippery slope. "You're a little sex addict, you need a break." Peter told him, in a mostly mocking serious tone.

"It's not my fault! You shouldn't have done such a good job breaking me in. You only have yourself to blame." It was true. Before they had sex, Daniel was perfectly okay with just making out on the bed for hours and occasionally rutting against each other. But as soon as they had sex, it was like a flip had gone off inside his head and now he wanted Peter inside him at every opportunity.

The intensity of their first time had been like no other feeling on Earth. Just thinking about it gave him an instant boner. There were so many romance novels that talked about the Earth moving - Daniel was sure his entire universe moved.

"We'll see who can last the longest then!" He knew he was probably going to regret it. Since, honestly, he wanted Peter back inside him right now. But he had never been able to back down from a challenge.

He started the car and put it in gear so he could drive them to the hospital.

"Okay, so, wait. You're blaming your little nympho addiction on the fact that I fuck too well?" Peter asked, arching an eyebrow. Smirking, Peter moved over to him, and nibbled on his ear, he was going to be a tease, see how well his boyfriend liked that.

Peter knew that Daniel was going to be the one to give in first, he couldn't help it. Peter couldn't blame him, he was addicted to having sex with Daniel, too, but Daniel's was starting to go past normal teenage boy wanting sex constantly things. Maybe he needed to be removed from temptation for a little while.

If Peter could stand it, which frankly, he wasn't sure he could, except for this was really going to be helping Daniel in the long run, so he could bear it. His hand started on Daniel's chest, feeling his heart beating, and then sliding down his stomach slowly, tracing circles.

"Absolutely! I wasn't like this until you fucked me. It's all your fault. I can't get enough of you." He shivered at the nibble to his ear. Fuck, Peter really was being a tease. How was that even fair? It went against all the rules.

Daniel let out a long, slow breath as Peter's hands wander over his chest and down to his stomach, even if his heart is racing. After a moment he caught Peter's hands in his, drew them to his lips and kissed his knuckles. "Quit it. I need to concentrate or I'll crash."

Peter's phone went off then. "Lucky for you, saved by the bell." He said, reaching in his pocket. He put it on speaker, so Daniel could hear too. "Hey, Morgan, we're on the way, okay?" He said, not surprised that Morgan was calling, she could get nervous, and he knew she was worried about him already, what with the stalker thing.

"No, it's okay, Petey. Daddy's getting a heart! There was this crash, a motorcycle. An eighteen year old boy died, but he was a match for Daddy! They rushed him into surgery. It's gonna be hours, so grab something to eat on the way. Papa's too anxious to eat, but me and Darcy and Jessa are hungry. So grab some pizzas or something, okay?"

Peter was a bit freaked that he hadn't gotten to say anything to Tony before he was taken back, but he knew that even without the stop to have sex, they wouldn't have made it. It sounds like it had been a rush thing. "That's great! We'll get the food."

It really was, and his heart was going a mile a minute, his hand reached out to squeeze Daniel's tightly.

Daniel gave Peter's hand a squeeze in return. "Deep breaths, baby. In. Out. Nice and deep. Slow and steady." He changed lane as they drove, so he could head to the decent pizza place so they could get food for everyone.

"It's great news for your Dad, babe. It's awesome. I told you something would come up." He smiled, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. "I feel for the family who lost their son though. They must be heartbroken. We knew that something like this would have to happen for Tony to get a heart, but it doesn't make it any easier."

"I know. It is." Peter agreed, and he tried not to think about the poor kid that was dead. He stroked the back of Daniel's hand with his thumb, staring down at their linked hands. He hated that someone had to die for his dad to get a new heart. Even if he knew that's how it had to be.

Peter's eyes brushed with worried tears. "I know. It's sad. And I feel shitty because I'm glad my dad is going to be okay." He had been sick for so long. Peter worried his lip, and then asked, "Daniel, will you marry me?"

"Yes, I did. Daniel Anthony LaRusso, will you marry me? I love you, I love you so much. I can't imagine life without you. I don't want life without you." Peter said, all of what Daniel had said was true, and he was just going to have to accept it.

That didn't change the fact that he wanted to marry Daniel. If you'd asked him a few months ago if he'd ever want to marry someone, he might have said no. But he knew that he wanted to be with Daniel forever. He stroked the back of Daniel's hand with his thumb, a small smile playing on his features.

"I can't imagine loving anyone else like I love you. If I had my way, we'd never leave the bed." A flush covered his features when he said this, but he meant it.

Daniel could honestly say that he had never pictured a proposal going like this. In a car on the way to grab pizza to take to the hospital. He didn't really know what he had expected, something like in the romance novels and chick flicks. A big romantic gesture, a ring, being swept off his feet and kissed until his foot popped - wasn't that what always happened in the novels?

He gave a nod. "Yeah, go on then. Let's get married."

Once they reached a red light, Daniel looked over at Peter. "Oh, so when you want us to stay in bed forever it's romantic. But when I want us to stay in bed forever then I'm a nymphomaniac? Double standards, Petey. Double standards."

Leaning over to kiss him, Peter twined his fingers in the hair at the nape of Daniel's neck. When he pulled back to breathe, he said, "Yes, baby, because I never said that I wanted us to stay in bed fucking. You, I know that's what you want. I'm fine just being with you, just holding you. Having you in my arms and knowing that you're okay."

Then Peter rummaged in the pocket of his jeans, and pulled out a little black box. He opened it, and there sat a gold ring, the band studded with tiny white diamonds. He took it out, and reached for Daniel's finger.

Sliding it on him, he said, "I'm gonna be Peter LaRusso, and you have no idea how happy that makes me." He'd had the ring from after his first date with Daniel.

He let out a squeak as Peter slid the ring onto his finger. Oh. This was a thing that was really happening. He admired the ring. Only for the car behind them to honk the horn when the light turned green.

Daniel flipped them off, before he started driving again. "Oh man... are your dads gonna murder me?"

Laughing, Peter said, "No, baby. They aren't going to murder you. I'm almost done with school, and I'm eighteen. I can get married if I want to." He loved that Daniel was so scared of his dads, when they both loved him like he was their own. "I've had that ring since three days after our first date. I knew I loved you, and I wanted to marry you."

Peter said, "That ring is a Stark family heirloom, it was my grandma's. I had it sized to fit you, and had them take the huge diamond off, in case that was just too much for you." He leaned to kiss Daniel's cheek, trying not to distract him from driving.

"They're going to be thrilled. Especially Dad, he keeps asking me when I'm going to make an honest man out of you."

Daniel couldn't help but blush. Three days? Was he really that loveable? He doubted it. Most people wanted to punch him in the face or shove him down a flight of stairs after three days.

"Oh Petey... I can't accept this. I can't take a Stark family heirloom. It's too much. I'm not deserving." What if he lost it? What if he damaged it?

"Yes, you can." Peter said, reaching out and lacing his fingers through Daniel's on the gear shift. "You are deserving. Do you know where I'd be without you? Where my dad would be without you?" Peter asked, his voice staying strong but his eyes watering up a bit.

A breath, and he said, "I asked Dad if it was okay to use this ring to ask you. And he asked me if I was sure. And I said I was, no hesitation. He said that it was okay, he didn't hesitate either. He said that a boy who would take the time to help someone he barely knew keep from committing suicide was worth that ring."

Peter squeezed Daniel's fingers tightly. "Do you know how beautiful you are? How adorable and sexy at the same time? I love this skin." Peter said, lifting Daniel's hand to his lips to kiss it. "You have the most beautiful skin I've ever seen."

"All I did was talk. Everyone says I have a big mouth, I just used it." Even now, Daniel didn't really think he'd done anything special. He'd just listened to Tony and talked at him. Anyone with any ounce of compassion would've done the same.

Also, Tony was kind of hot. What kind of bisexual teenage boy passed up the opportunity to talk to a hot older guy? He never could've imagined that he would end up engaged to said hot older guy's son.

"You really like my skin. Sometimes I worry that this whole boyf--fiance thing is just a cover and you're secretly waiting for the right time to skin me alive to use me for human taxidermy," he joked.

"You gave him an outlet to talk when he needed it. People don't have the compassion that you think they do, baby." Peter told him, but he was glad that Daniel thought of the world that way. It was unbelievably adorable. One of the reasons that Peter fell in love with him almost immediately.

Peter arched an eyebrow at him when Daniel joked. "If I wanted to do that, would we still be together months later? My dad is Iron Man, my pop is the Hulk, my uncles are the God of Thunder and Captain America, and I'm Spiderman. Why wouldn't I have done that immediately?" He asked.

"Although when we're ready for kids, I want them to look like you." Peter said, hoping that that wouldn't freak Daniel out. Although they were engaged now, so he supposed it probably wouldn't. It's not like he wanted kids immediately.

"You are being so morbid." Peter said, shaking his head. "Enough of that, mister." He wondered where Daniel got that side of himself from. He supposed it could be from losing his father as a kid, but that still didn't lead to wearing people skin.

Laughing, Peter said, "No, not any time soon. I kinda need to graduate from high school first." He squeezed Daniel's hand again. "Boy, how far away is the pizza place? And how long is traffic gonna be stuck?" He was anxious to see his family.

"Are you gonna be okay with Darcy today? I know she scares you." Why, he didn't get. Other than Darcy could kick just about anyone's ass that she wanted to.

"Sorry, sorry," Daniel said, shooting Peter a grin. He could have quite a morbid sense of humour at times. He wasn't sure where it stemmed from. Probably all the terrible dark comedy b movies he'd seen.

"Patience. We're getting the good pizza. It's worth the wait. I mean, it's not as good as Jersey pizza. But it's pretty good." And at least the roads from the pizza place to the hospital would be quicker.

"That depends... is Darcy going to threaten me? Because she's terrifying. In fact, most of your family are terrifying and want to kill me. Does she know you proposed? Am I going to die?"

"Darcy isn't going to threaten you, and she isn't terrifying." Peter said, shaking his head. "And no one wants to kill you. Jessalyn is the only one who I'm not sure what she thinks. But she doesn't really talk much about anything."

Peter sighed. "I'm starving." He eyed Daniel's cock, wondering how much Daniel would object to having a bj in the middle of traffic. It was against the law. Peter licked his lips. His hand reached over to Daniel's member, slowly running up and down it through his jeans.

"I wonder how we could pass the time?" Peter asked, his long fingers moving slowly.
