Okay so Deanna here is the Counselor in TNG canon. This means what you think it means: she serves as a therapist on the Enterprise, someone anyone can come to for a confidential talk or for help with things. I've been debating for a while the idea of her picking up this role here in the prison and wanted to ask a) if anyone would be interested in this being a thing and b) if anyone would like to thread out talks in the future. Deanna could feasibly find a location for these sessions (I'm assuming that would need to be brought up with one of the wardens) and if someone wants to, I could have certain days where she's "in the office" so to speak and if anyone wants to thread something out on one of those days or assume their character saw Deanna, I'd be perfectly fine with that.

Note: I am not a therapist myself so these will be based on what she's said and done in canon. Of course everything would be confidential unless something happens and all parties involved agree there's the potential for something else, etc.

She's also an empath, meaning she can sense emotions and she won't hesitate to use that to her advantage in sessions in order to get to the bottom of whatever issue is being brought to her attention, so if there's interest in this or threading with her at all, I'd appreciate it if interested people would take a look at her permissions post to let me know what is okay and not okay for her to sense.

well okay, Reid isn't back just yet but starting tomorrow Spike, Chuck and Aidan will be back in action! Our resident genius will drop back in with the newcomers next week, bumped all the way up to 812 - Zugzwang. More info on that as we get there.

In the meantime, I'd love to get some plot going! I know I had a few things cooking with a couple of you and after a month of mostly radio silence I'm itching to get some threading done! Please hit me up here or on plurk so we can plot!
