...okay that was weak. /shot I just wanted to announce that I FINALLY have an information post up for Touma's "Imagine Breaker" ability. It has rarely come up in his 100+ IC days in Marina, but things have heated up with the change in venues, so I thought it was high time for this.

TL;DR summary: Touma has the potential to mess up anything that superhuman characters can do with regards to supernatural shenanigans, divine blessings, enchantments, spells, psychic abilities, etc. This has a lot of caveats and little rules and a stupid hole in canon as to what he can-or-cannot dispel so...

Well, okay it's not a good summary. If you are at all interested, please read this, but do not feel as if you have to, since again it rarely comes up. Mostly relevant to antagonistic types, people prone to picking fights, using their powers casually/indiscriminately, or just anyone who comes into physical contact with him. Thank you for your time!

So I'm finally back after a rather sizable hiatus and vacation. I missed the move because I was visiting family out of state, but I'm back now and ready to get into the swing of things. I'm afraid that because of all this I'm sort of lost as to what is going on with the defense force. Haunt filled me in on some of the details.

For people that are Team Captains of the temporary teams, if possible I'd like to add Yuuki to one of the groups. She joined the force again RIGHT before the move. She'd still want to keep up with things though. Is someone willing to add Yuuki into their team and fill me in on who's there, their activities, etc? Yuuki's abilities might come in handy if a particular group needs someone for something specific, whether it be flying (through transmutation) her ability to detect blood, etc etc. We can assume she's been doing stuff with the group actively, if people are cool with this? OTL Man - vacation seriously came at the wrong time.

DF aside, to anyone new, hi, I'm Kitten! I play Yuuki Kuran here. She's a pureblood vampire from a crazy shoujo manga called Vampire Knight. She's a sweetie though!

Because of her abilities I want to repost that she has a Permissions Post. Please feel free to fill that out and let me know what is and isn't okay! She has a crazy amount of abilities and powers in canon and even if they are watered down here I definitely don't want to step on toes! That said, despite her strength she's sort of considered the ultimate prey in her world. Her blood has innumerable magical properties (such as healing and strength and abilities) and it's considered incredibly tempting because of just how pure it is, coveted even among humans.

I added an additional section to her permissions post, but it's small. If you want to re-tag it with the addition to it, feel free to, though I'm not sure that it will make too big of a difference for some.

It hit me somewhat belatedly that Laura's abilities (particularly her sense of smell), could be intrusive/godmodey in big way without meaning to be, so I put up a permissions post for people to better understand how it works and what she's capable of doing because of it.

A basic summary is that Laura's sense of smell is so good that she will recognize your scent almost anywhere and it allows her to sense emotions (and in some ways when people are lying). So if you would rather I avoid this coming up should I tag you with her, just fill out the form and let me know. I'm more than willing to oblige you.

hey there, marinovalings! if i y'all could head over here to fill out a permissions meme regarding sookie's telepathic abilities, that'd rock. i've included details on her abilities, including her telepathy, that outlines what she can and cannot do. to summarize:

→ sookie smells awesome to vampires and her blood is addictive, like vampire crack. 8|
→ reads minds, but NOT the minds of vampires (or those who say no to the permissions).
→ cannot be glamoured/compelled/enthralled/mind controlled/etc due to her fairy-ness.
→ has magical fairy ~light powers~ aka photokinesis aka the glowy hands of doom.

sook, genius that she is, has already outed herself as a fairy on her intro post thanks to canon point shenanigans, so feel free to have your characters know all about her tinkerbell status. i'm also totally okay with any vampires wanting to take a bite out of her because of her fae blood allure. you may now return to your reglarly scheduled underwater prison activities. o/

Hi everyone, this is Char (sh sound not ch) bringing you one Homura Akemi from that sunshine and happiness-filled series Madoka☆Magica.

Also in the parade of returning Heeblejorbs (do you guys even use that term anymore?), I used to play a few kids like Maya Fey and Winry Rockbell back at Marina Classic before burning out and needing a break. But now I'm back from outer space.

Homura is largely on her surface a polar opposite of Maya, being rather cold and distant for rather good reasons. She's also basically The Goddamn Batman as a fourteen year old magical girl, except she actually uses guns and flips her fabulous hair.





She is basically filled with spoilers because that's how her canon rolls (Our Magical Girls are Different, etc.), but you can post to my permissions post to avoid the big ones!

So yeah. I am bringing in Vriska Serket from that one ridiculous anime webcomic about kids and fun and mass murder. She's kind of a terrible person.

She's also a telepath and kind of sort of a goddess of light so I am in the middle of putting up a permission post since one will...kind of be necessary...
