It seems that some people are having trouble adding character tags to posts following the IJ server change. Since this is the core of our activity check and organizational systems, we wanted to learn more about how it was affecting everyone to better decide how to deal with it!

We're coming up on an IC year, and it's a good time for the wardens to reevaluate some things. However, we want your thoughts first!

The question on the table is whether or not they should completely remove the sex band system. The current bands would go away. People could have or not have any kind of sexual relations with however many people they want without any kind of disciplinary actions from the wardens. It would affect their rehabilitation points, but those are made up. It also means no names get called out on the daypost for breaking the rules. You lose an option for getting a punishment. You don't get to have conversation pieces around your wrist. Either path is a solid path. Which do you choose?

We have a couple of questions for you!

Currently, we post events on the calendar generally a month or more in advance. You are notified of new postings on the Sunday Speakeasy. However, this information is really just a title, not the details we usually provide a few days before the event start.

How much in advance would you like your event information?

If there was an opportunity for us to change the death rules from death = dropping a character to death = a character returning with a sacrifice of some memories, would you want that?

Please note, we will take the information from this poll to heart, but there may be some instances where advanced plotting won't be possible. We wouldn't want to hold back great ideas even if they came to us on the fly, but we could certainly shift how we do things for the most part. We would also launch a shift like this in death policies in an IC way with meta plot, so it would not be an immediate change.

Hellooooo players! As we work on which events to schedule next we thought we should get some of your feedback. Of course you're always welcome to suggest events or build them around IC character actions for a player event. (We love those!) But sometimes it helps just to be reminded that you have the power!

We can't promise that every idea will happen or happen soon. We do need to balance what would work for the setting and NPCs ICly if it's not a player-navigated thing, but we'd love to know what you're looking to play!

We can say there will be a shared dream event and a body swap both on the horizon. We just haven't scheduled when yet.

Your mods have been in this game a long time. We've been in it since before we modded it! This has its benefits, but it also has its drawbacks. We know and remember and understand things that may or may not be presented anywhere in our game information for others to know, remember, and understand. It also means this game is getting old even with its fresh start, so it contains new information added to old information and edited for an evolving game. It's been reread and revised of course, but it's easy to fall out of touch with how it looks to fresh eyes.

So we have come to you because WE NEED YOUR EYES!

We promise to return them to you in near-mint condition! We just want your feedback. We have some talking points below, but anything you experienced when going through the game info would be helpful. We are very interested in thoughts from newer players (anyone who has joined while the game was on this comm as MarinaNova), but everyone is welcome to fill this out. After all, everyone has their own perspective that can be useful!

Just leave us a comment here with your responses. Comments are screened, though if you say something that warrants a direct reply that reply won't be so that you can see it, meaning you should contact us through the mod email if you want a more private discussion.

We greatly appreciate your time and help here. Please know we'll take everything under consideration. It's likely we won't choose to take every suggestion or find perfect solutions to every problem, but we do want to make it as good as it can be! If we find out it's already practically perfect we'll just watch some Mary Poppins and be done with it for now!
