[While on the flip side, Awa became plenty warm in the summer. The ocean breeze helped a fair bit, but that didn't mean there never was any humidity. Either way, though, there's only so much heat he can take.

He moved about the store gathering a number of things in one of the hand baskets. Several more water bottles, the necessary pair of shorts (still on the long side, as he knew Kija would likely be more okay with them, and not swim shorts), along with a pair of more summer appropriate shoes. Plus a towel, because who knows. Those "balloons" and "water guns" are out there. Who knows if he may be attacked (~~likely~~)

Taking out one of the new bottles he hands it over.]

I'll help you to the dressing room if you'd prefer.

[Right, right. Well this place has nothing if not options. He likes to think he's gotten a little bit better at figuring out the fashion of this place, though he's hardly an expert.

Moving past Jae-Ha to look at a couple of the shirts, he rummages through them until he finds a blue one that he pulls out. Short sleeve. They're all short sleeved. Oh well... in the end he chooses one regardless of the fact.

Ah- but he's still tired. Slumping for a moment he drags it off of the hanger. Pulling it up and over his head he turns around and glances down at himself.]

Do you consider this appropriate?

[He looks through the selection as well. There seem to be plenty of one style in particular. Something with only a small bit of material near the toes, which he doesn't get at all. What he does pick out is a pair that appear to make more sense. There's both an adjustable strap around the ankle and over the toes.]

Ah-- yes.

[Bending down to fiddle with putting the sandals on, he nods. He's somewhat tired and drained from the sun, but clearly doing a little better.]

I am sorry for being an inconvenience while you were enjoying the beach, Jae-Ha. [He lifts a hand to his head.] It does not get so warm in Hakuryuu Village. While hot, I did not think it should matter so much if I were to wear my robes during the day as normal.

To further try new things! Such beautiful ladies and their choice of dress is a bright light in this otherwise cruel place! It's not something we've seen anything of so far. Clearly it must be acknowledged!

And it's not as though it has anything to do with courtships, right? They're merely expressing themselves through fashion! Even to me it's a fair lot different than the usual back home. You should at the least try once, even a simple "hello"! They are plenty of nice ones who aren't forward at all!
