[Day 329] In Bloom Event/Dance Mingle
[DAYTIME: Walking in a floral wonderland. Not to be confused with an actual wonderland. ~~Completely different event.~~ You could be anywhere and everywhere today and not escape the petals.

DANCE: The sector 2 garden is a little extra pleasant and inviting this evening. Gentle breeze, beautiful flowers, delicious hor d'oeuvres, sparkling punch, and music. And dry. Did we mention it's dry? Not a single flood as far as the eye can see. So, find someone and get out there and dance.]

Not specifically, no. I do not hate them, but I do not go out of my way for them.

[Tieria recognized the posture of someone in the military. He'd seen it many times. In some ways, he carried a similar posture around himself, but Celestial Being wasn't really a full military organization in that it was sponsored by a government and had a strict regimental command structure. But, he knew war, and that might show in how alert he was to his surroundings. Or was that just his quantum brainwaves giving him a slight edge over others and their levels of awareness.]

Why do you ask?

[Tieria stared for a moment, a bit surprised and maybe a little flustered at someone doing that for him. He cleared his throat in an attempt to cover his moment of being off guard, and then attempted to look nonchalant.]

If you feel it is truly necessary.

[Frankly, Tieria really didn't care either way. He hadn't even really wanted to come to the dance in the first place, so leaving off a boutonniere wasn't really something he considered a major faux pas.

These sorts of events were really not his strong point.]

[Even with Tieria seeming like he was disinterested, Conrad with add the finishing touch -- that he believed -- the other individual's suit needed. The gold flower petals really did add a tad more color to his suit.]

That should do it. The flowers will help to keep you lightly entertained whenever you're left alone. It'll keep you distracted from pulling on your clothes. My mother taught me this trick whenever I felt fidgety on my first few dances.

[Although he was a natural in keeping calm and collected, there were times he did feel out of place in the high class social events especially around other mazoku when he was young.]

Have you been living in this dome for very long?

[Tieria was pretty sure he hadn't been fidgeting with his clothes, but now he was a little doubtful. He'd started picking up weird unconscious habits, so he wouldn't have been surprised if he had been without noticing.]

So instead of pulling at my clothes, I am supposed to pull at the flowers?

I have been here for two hundred eighty-one days.

[Not that he had been consciously counting. He just normally remembered all of these things without trying.]

Not exactly. More like watch or observe it whenever you are left alone to avoid misunderstandings. You won't end up gazing at someone for too long nor look down at your shoes neither.

Another veteran member. You're the second individual I have found who has been in this prison for a long time. Do you, by any chance, know someone by the name of Yuuri?

	Interesting. [So something like a social helper to avoid awkward situations.] I do. I have worked with him on occasion when he helps with things on the Defense Force. He is not a full time member, but he does help with healing people as needed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[Best way to explain it. Good job, Tieria. Too bad the information over Yuuri being part of the Defense Force will leave him pensive, but his good nature smile doesn't falter.]

It sounds just like him. No matter where he goes, you can expect him to help all those in need.

He hasn't told me anything about there being a Defense Force. Can you tell me a little about it? Like, what his duties usually are?

Usually just helping with healing. He does not participate in combat or patrols or go on any sort of missions.

[Which, well, they didn't really have much in the way of missions, either.]

The Defense Force overall is something several inmates put together to protect others in the dome incapable of protecting themselves from those who may wish to do harm. We also are investigating the dome itself in order to find a way out.
