[Day 329] In Bloom Event/Dance Mingle
[DAYTIME: Walking in a floral wonderland. Not to be confused with an actual wonderland. ~~Completely different event.~~ You could be anywhere and everywhere today and not escape the petals.

DANCE: The sector 2 garden is a little extra pleasant and inviting this evening. Gentle breeze, beautiful flowers, delicious hor d'oeuvres, sparkling punch, and music. And dry. Did we mention it's dry? Not a single flood as far as the eye can see. So, find someone and get out there and dance.]

[Most will be able to find Inara walking around and mingling with the others. She was smiling and even laughing because truly, this sort of thing reminded her of home - which she was missing more than she thought she would ever. If one wanted to dance, she certainly won't be turning them down.

Though it's also quite possible that one can find her later on in the evening, wandering around outside and even heading towards the hedge maze.]

[ Okay, wow, Neil is not big on ogling ladies, or people, generally, but watching the brunette move around, it was difficult to miss the deliberate, knowing way with which she gathered attention and did with it what she pleased. Which was why he took care not to be crude, didn't seek her out to impose his opinions on her.

But when he looks up, his eye clear, from picking up a glass of water, and spots her across the table from him, he smiles without much hesitation. ]

That's a stunning outfit.

[Inara's sat down and is taking a sip of water, needing a breather from socializing and dancing. She's picked a table where there's only one other person sitting, and part of that was because he looked interesting.

She smiles at him as he looks over at her and speaks up.]

Thank you, that's nice of you to say. [She gives him a quick once over.] And you look quite dapper yourself. Are you enjoying the evening?

Oh, so you're new. I'm sorry. [She hates welcoming people to a prison, it just seems wrong. Still, it's always nice meeting the new people. And truly she's glad that she's taken a seat at his table.]

She doesn't let go of his hand as she turns in towards him, just places her other hand on his shoulder.] It's been a while since I danced, so I might be a little rusty. [Turn her down? That was never going to happen. Not even with his recluse ways due to an unfortunate history of all the women in his life ending up dead. Okay, maybe he should be a little more careful accepting dancing invitations.]
