[Day 329] In Bloom Event/Dance Mingle
[DAYTIME: Walking in a floral wonderland. Not to be confused with an actual wonderland. ~~Completely different event.~~ You could be anywhere and everywhere today and not escape the petals.

DANCE: The sector 2 garden is a little extra pleasant and inviting this evening. Gentle breeze, beautiful flowers, delicious hor d'oeuvres, sparkling punch, and music. And dry. Did we mention it's dry? Not a single flood as far as the eye can see. So, find someone and get out there and dance.]

[Rebecca's actually a little prepared for the dance, but just this time on the right IC day. Clomping around in chunky floral boots is just her thing to do, especially at a dance. It still feels weird to be celebrating so soon after the flood but she's got a soft spot for social activities so there she is. Only dancing by yourself is only so much fun for so long...

[ Weird as it may be, Aidan is actually pretty happy about the celebration. It gives them an excuse to reconnect and breathe, both well needed things after that whole drowning experience.

When she comes over, he can't help but smile all wide and happy. They're keeping their thing on the down low but damn if he can conceal what a bright spot she's become in his life. ]

Nice jacket. [Compliment for a compliment, she gives his lapel a brief tug. She sort of hovers light on the balls of her feet, like a grade school kid in front of their crush might at the school dance. Not sure whether to touch or not. Not really sure how to openly express something they've until then kept relatively low key.]

How's your day been? Besides full of flowers.

That way her eyes stay firmly, and warmly, on him when she looks him over before sticking one in his hair and then the following wildflower straight into his beard to see if it'll stick. [ He's still a little jittery about kissing so much in the open, but it's a jitter he can ignore in favor for making out with her. It is nice that they can do this outside of their apartment and he can't deny that there's a little sting of longing for doing it like this all the time. Secrets can be exciting, but eventually they lose their novelty.

Besides, kissing is more fun than secrets. He'd rather be doing that right now. ]
