I don't want to play 'who suffered more' with you. I am not worst off and I know it. Owen was, when he was a walking corpse. Toshiko was when she was bleeding out. So many people have been, are, and will be. But wasn't there a time when the women you knew, or even you, wanted someone to look at them and acknowledge that they had had shit things happen to them?

I hope that girl you knew knows how much you admired her.
