[It's been a long time. Ripping her away would have been pretty hard. Not that he wouldn't have gotten there eventually or at least slowed down to make sure she was sure or maybe remember the rules on it. Or really just to think about it long enough for thoughts of Elena and Martha and impending doom back home and a very bad streak with women in his life ending up dead and all the other reasons why getting involved is a bad idea to overwhelm him.]

Yeah, yeah, lovely. [Did he just say lovely? He's face does this little smiling thing.] It was good to see you too. I'm glad I wasn't someone you wouldn't want to see today. [Never the smooth brother.]
