[Kanji opens and closes his mouth a few times, utterly speechless at this new development. Its like there's suddenly a giant spotlight shining on him and everything he doesn't like about himself and even though he has actually had that situation happen to him before in a much more literal way he still doesn't like it. Accepting that part of himself, that Shadow, is one thing but wanting people to know about it, being put on the spot like this, that's different. It ain't on his terms and he never likes that. He looks utterly miserable and can't help but wonder if this is all his fault. If it somehow knows. And what about Aidan, stuck here with someone like him? That's gotta suck. He swallows hard, not able to drag his eyes up off his feet.]

[ Silence is the worst answer, really. No, not even the worst answer. Just a non-answer. The barrier is closing and the bot is chirping and it's not like they have a choice, so instead of trying to pry further Aidan just goes for it. Distance closed, hands pressed against Kanji's shoulders so he can push him up against the barrier for a proper, deep snog.

[Up until today Kanji's kidding experience begins and ends with Teddie's stupid Kings Game request - he can't believe he didn't murder that stupid bear for it - which doesn't even count anyway. He doesn't know what to expect or what qualifies as kissing better but even he can tell this is an improvement over their previous attempt. Maybe he can even see how it might be nice with the right person under the right circumstances. He returns the kiss a hesitantly, light and shy and totally at odds with his usual image. He still hates all of this but at least it seems to work because the barrier vanishes and there's confetti that even he can't find cute. He looks like he wants to disappear but at his height that's never going to happen.]

[In his experience that advice it total crap. People don't get something, they make your life miserable until you beat the shit outta them and then they leave you alone. He's so big it's easy to forget how young he is. He won't be 16 for another month and he's already way to jaded about the way the world works in response to people who are different. Nothin' wrong with him? He doesn't know if he buys that.] It don't matter what people think. They give me crap for it, I'll shut 'em up. But thanks.
