Well... [He bends to gather up the dropped donations. It's a good way to hide himself and busy his hands while he says something potentially embarrassing.] It is kind of weird. But I can't afford to let it mess anything up. I don't want to lose something important over a single action. Especially not something we had no say in.

Yeesh... that sucks. [ No, really. He has all the sympathy for this. ] You never know though, right? I mean, I was pretty sure I was only into girls when I was growin' up. Wasn't really th' case.

I dunno... maybe I just love a lot of people who hate themselves. [ Yes, love. Aidan loves easily and platonically. That makes it all the more painful when the people he love doesn't love themselves even half as much. ]
