[ Camping out on the beach is fun, right? Sleeping under the stars, lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves and the rustling in the palm fronds. This isn't a refugee camp, this is a resort!

Several larger tents have been prepared on the beach. If this isn't enough there's a bunch of smaller ones ready to be set up, along with the permanent beach huts if tents aren't your thing. The makings of hot dogs and s'mores are available by the fire pits and if you have additional dietary desires, the convenience store isn't far away!

[He steps out of a shadow with an armload of things that he's forced to dump on the sand because he didn't think to bring a bag or basket.] I found like, four different kinds of tea, and lemon, and ginger. I think that's ginger? [It is.] And honey. Bianca always forced honey on me when I had a cough. Water. Soup! And then I forgot the kettle and everything, so I popped into an apartment for all that. Damn bot got me. [There's a pan, a kettle, and a can opener. He sighs.] I don't know. Maybe I forgot something.

[By the time he's got the water in the kettle and set it over the fire, he feels a little less frazzled. He sits with his arms around his knees. He wishes he had normal reactions to normal things, like hugging.

He makes neat piles out of the rest of the supplies until Aidan is done with the ginger. Though he really shouldn't be doing anything at all. Still no cups.] I can do the rest. You should be sitting still. Are you warm enough? I can find more blankets. I need to get cups anyway.

[ Normal is overrated. Happy is what's really important and if you can't achieve that, then settling for content or even just not in immediate pain seems good enough. He's not thinking much about Nico's reaction as something negative. Most of all he's just happy he was allowed a hug in the first place. ]

Colds can get worse if you don't take care of them. I've talked to a lot of dead people who died from easily cured illnesses. [Mostly people from countries where treatment for those illnesses was out of their hands, or the very poor and homeless. He would sometimes help Thanatos guide whole handfuls of children down into the Underworld.]

I hadn't really thought about a tent. It wasn't really cold last night, so I figured it would be fine tonight too. They've got to be done with the rain for a while, right?
