[ Camping out on the beach is fun, right? Sleeping under the stars, lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves and the rustling in the palm fronds. This isn't a refugee camp, this is a resort!

Several larger tents have been prepared on the beach. If this isn't enough there's a bunch of smaller ones ready to be set up, along with the permanent beach huts if tents aren't your thing. The makings of hot dogs and s'mores are available by the fire pits and if you have additional dietary desires, the convenience store isn't far away!

[Carl didn't particularly like the thought of sleeping on the beach. Yes, he'd been "camping out" for while now and this was still practically child's play compared to what he'd done before. But he was separated from his things. He'd lost the bat he'd taken with him initially and now he didn't have anything except his small patch of beach. He didn't see the enjoyment in this.

But he's sitting there, trying to find some amusement in it, using a stick to draw in the sand]

[ Gadget, the fat and snuggly puppy she spontaneously adopted on her first not-date with her now-boyfriend, is still pretty spooked from the storm. That's what happens when you're still small but frequent walks on the beach seem to help his jittery mood. Sticks even more so and he's far from trained enough to know not to just go up and steal people's sticks. ]

	[Carl looks up as a dog comes over and takes his stick from him. He is actually stunned for a moment as he watches the dog run by. Finally he can't help a small smile before he looks back up at the woman, reaching out to pet the dog] He's yours? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
